our 2.83 gf/g rank 18th in the league and our 3.33 ga/g rank 26th. It´s quite simple to adress our goals against, get rid of DK and Staal, be more aggressive in front of your goalie and stop silly turnovers in transition. Up front we need more out of our second line. 1st line is around a point per game, which is good, the second line is at 0.4 ppg as is the 3rd line and the 4th with 0.3 ppg. So basically we have a 1st, two 3rd and a fourth line.

We get back into the game and in the second intermission our captain get´s removed because of Covid protocols? WTF happened there?
-
great save from Bert
-
He´s playing on the top line in the SHL. There´s nothing to prove for him in the AHL and he´s likely not being counted on as heavily as Seider. He can start on the third pairing and adjust on the fly.

We have to keep Leddy, next years free agent market is thin(Zadorov seems like one of a few) and we have to get rid of Staal and DDK. So Leddy, Edvinsson, Oesterle + FA for the left side with McIsaac and Johansson hopefully pushing from GR. I´m totally fine with our three RHD, the combo of Seider, Hronek und Lindström is good already although they only have a combined 239 games of NHL experience and they will only get better.

He´s lot better since his benching. When he´s playing like today on an everyday basis no one is talking about potentially trading him. -

nice one! Wings win it 5-2 -
Take the momentum of our homestand, play hard for 60 minutes and go grab them two points!! I was a bit late, forget about this one
-
#1+2 in NHL scoring against #1+2 in rookie scoring. Will be a fun game to watch. Go Wings!!
-
This is U20 hockey and I´m totally aware of that. He´s a 2nd rd pick and SY has shown some skill in finding good dmen. I´m just happy that he´s found some confidence and the points keep coming. Confidence is an important part of development and he´s doing well. Really good skater, playing third line minutes, contributing offensively while not giving up much. Looks like a good pick, time will tell.
-
After a tough loss Thursday, we´re looking for a rebound win. The two embarassing meetings in Montreal should be motivation enough!! Go Wings!!
-
just keep rollin´
-
there´s a lot to like about him. He´s a great skater(unbelieveable to say that about a goalie...) breaking up plays or generating offense through his mobility. It was a bit nerve wrecking the first few games but now I´m used to it and it helps our transition game a lot. He almost plays like a deep defenseman. The lack of size is easily matched by his aggressiveness, positioning and mobility. He really seems to be a great return.
-
The last few seasons we would have lost this game. We wouldn´t have forced WSH to play hard for 60 minutes after being down 2-0 in the first. This team finally has some fight and will power. It´s sometimes still hard to watch but there´s always some belief that they may be able to get the two points. Just keep going boys.
-
I just want to see Mo keep playing wrecking ball, it´s fun
-
and the breakaway in the first... but overall is the second period a whole lot better. We´re a bit on fire
-
nice one by Larkin, back in the game Suter
