Zadina is in the moment a yard away from being good. Inaccurate passing and shooting, often a step to late, just a yard missing. Ras needs to bulk up and find some aggressiveness. He´s 6´6" but doesn´t look like it. At the end of the day I want all four to succeed, but in the moment Ras and Z are heading in the wrong direction. Veleno´s stock is rising and an on top of his game Hronek will find a space on the roster in the foreseeable future

Hronek and Veleno will most definitely be still here. I´m not so sure about Ras and Zadina, they have to do better to stay with the team.

It was a really bad game, painful to watch but hey don´t forget were still a rebuilding team and were without our top three fowards. Thursday is a chance to do better. After the really bad stuff, a few good things. Our three 2022 Calder finalists tried to carry the team which is telling. Nedeljkovic is getting better every game. His skating, puckhandling and passing are real nice traits to have. Seider and Raymond led the team in shots and at least tried to fight defeat. Another good thing is to see DDK´s ice time reduced. And could someone send Givani Smith a tutu, he should probably try figure skating, there´s no hitting needed.

Three takeaways from the game. 1. Nedeljkovic looks better each game. His skating and passing skills help a lot in our transition game, there´s still fine tuning to be done but constantly improving. 2. Seider is everything we could have wished for, playing hard, with authority, not giving in. His face on the bench near the end of that Montreal game, he looked so disgusted with their perfomance. He hates losing especially when it´s because of lack of effort. He´s not perfect, but who is after 8 games. Expect more to come. 3. Don´t count them out, the resiliency and believe make them a tough team to play and fun team to watch

What do you expect? If anyone told you 2 months ago we would be down 2-0 against Washington and Florida early in the second period, missing Vrana and still get 3 points you probably would have laughed. That team shows, with still limited skill, a resiliency we were long missing and plays above expectations. When I watch Team Germany play against any of the top six national teams we only stand a chance if we play like Detroit yesterday. With limited skill, still a lot better than last year, you have to play heart and soul hockey, make life for them a misery and be relentless. Red Wings hockey is entertaining again, fun to watch and you sound like we´re a contender losing to Arizona...

exactly and the Hawks did NOTHING. They just let it happen, wrote a nice evaluation letter and send him somewhere else to carry on. Sh*t happens and an organisation has to deal with it responsibly even if it´s inconvenient.

Probably they give him about 10 games to find out if he can get his strength back and if not not scratch him. It must be something like that because it´s definitely not his play what keeps him in the lineup.

I really hope that´s not the reason because that is childish behaviour. If he does not want to be demoted he should play his *ss off and show that he deserves the minutes he got handed to last year. The time for having a spot because of missing competition is over. Players with that sort of attitude are trade candidates imo.

I don´t know what happened to Hronek because his Calgary game looked at times like a refusal to work. Probably something personal because I have never seen him play like that before. Sloppy, no punch or effort, he wasn´t even really trying sometimes.

every pair with DDK involved is garbage, his best days are long gone. He wasn´t even able to outmuscle 5´8" 180 lbs Tyler Johnson. No strength, no aggressiveness and on top of that not able to keep up with our new found pace.

He is playing against professionals, grown men since his seventeenth birthday, he is not going to take s**t from anyone. I really can´t wait for his first matchup against Kirby Dach, there´s still an open bill.

common sense has nothing to say nowadays...

I had covid a year ago, still have plenty of antibodys but they try to force me to get vaxxed where I see no need to take an vaccine which is still not fully approved. They all say that an actual infection has better protection against getting covid again and better protection against becoming critically ill, but still I´m treated as a unvaxxed person.
