No one would claim that contract let alone trade for it, he might get another shot for a team when hes a FA. But til then he'll be in the minors in GR.

id take stamkos in a heartbeat, rarly players of this caliber are moved and or drafted. Perfer to keep sheahan though, and give them pulk or jurco instead -
Larkin is elite on this team, other teams maybe not so much. Imagine our season without him.

UPDATE: Detroit #RedWings Executive Vice President and General Manager Ken Holland announced today that the team has signed defenseman Xavier Ouellet to a one-year contract extension. Xavier Ouellet (DET) 1 year extension @ $715,000 cap hit $680,000 salary + $35,000 signing bonus

Jonathan Toews I win.
-
Meh no loss here, not really sure how he made the team in the first place. Im sure his dad had some pull in it.
-
If Datsyuk could train Jurco as a apprentice, This kid has the skill set to be datsyuk-esq, he just dont know how to use it on the ice. On the bright side he's only 22 and thats quite young for the recently old detroit red wings squad were used to.
-
We need a strong physical Dman that has a cannon for our PP. We also could use a real powerforward to open up some space on the ice and cause havoc in the crease.
-
Looks like one way.
