I hope this game is more interesting than the last time these 2 teams played

Idk I think the final flash is way more bad ass. Plus it only took 5-10 minutes to charge that up.

What this team really needs is for a Vegeta final flash to blow Holland, Blashill and the rest of the front office into oblivion.

Didn’t get to watch the game. How bad was it? Mantha with a 3 point night looks promising. Saw some highlights of Ericsson turnovers leading to goals as well. Wish we could see what Hicketts can bring to the table for a decent stretch of games with E in the press box.

Had to make it difficult but a W is a W.

Glad we had guys out on the 4 on 4 that can only flip the puck out of the zone rather than control it. Dumb flip out to the neutral zone led to the goal

I’d like to see that speed and skill from Mantha a little more consistently. He could dominate this league.

Off the ice he’s a great guy. Probably one of the nicest guys to talk to out of all the players and coaches when I was there. He knew exactly what he was there to do and did whatever he could to stay in the NHL. He has absolutely zero skill but he drove opponents crazy. Threw a lot of boardline checks and a ton of left handed haymakers.

Yea I was working at that game. Pretty sure that was the end of Kaleta’s career. He shattered his hand in that fight and wasn’t 100% for a long time after that. I remember him not being able to fight at all so he was pretty much useless.

Yea I really don’t understand how people can defend Blashillanymore. It’s clear as day watching the games that his system and his lines don’t work. It’s clear that the guys getting big minutes show no heart, no work ethic, they’re just plain awful. But will they sit? Nope. Gotta keep reducing the young promising talent’s ice time. It doesn’t help that he has a log jam of way overpaid role players but if he truly has any say he needs to sit some of those guys in the press box and call up the guys that want to be here.

I agree with this. Most team use a system where the first forward back assumes the centers duties of supporting the puck and helping the defense out down low while the last 2 guys back watch the points. Plus with all the cycling and defense jumping into the play and joining the cycle down low players are forced to interchange positions all the time.

Yea it’s was brutal. I had more fun walking around and getting chirped by all the know nothing fans that Buffalo has to offer. By the end of the game I was drunk running around yelling “Brett Hull is the greatest of all time!” That really pissed them off.

Worst hockey game I have ever seen, in person, in my life. Both teams were awful. No wonder tickets 6 rows from the glass were $25. I can’t think of one nice play or any moments where I was on the edge of my seat. On a side note, Buffalo fans have awful chirps. Chanting Dat-sucks as I walk through the concourse only to have no response when I mention that they’ve been rebuilding since 1970.

Quick trade a goalie to Vegas. They currently have zero goalies due to injuries.

Trade them both and tank! We need to upgrade the defense so badly that it doesn’t even matter who is in net at this point.
