Idk about this. It is hard to guess where Frk might end up but he's got decent size, can play in the corners, and go to the dirty areas. Pulks seemed to hesitate to go into the corners and stayed away from the gritty areas. I'd give Frk a decent amount of games on 3rd line with some power play time to see if he can settle in. It's not like it's going to change anything or hurt the team. I see Nosek as a solid 4th line center who could fill in on 3rd line for a short period of time with injuries. He's got good size, decent hands, and is faster than Anderson. In the 3 games I watched in Syracuse, he was often the most noticeable player on the ice. Always engaged in the physical play and always driving the net. He made a lot of good things happen. Again, it won't hurt the team to give him a decent amount of time to try and get his game going. Thats just my opinion based on the limited time I've seen these guys play. I say give em a shot.

Hopefully he keeps developing and can be an impact player in the future. Would be nice to get a late round steal. It's been awhile since we got one of those.

If Mrazek is left unprotected and get claimed by Vegas, what happens when Jimmy gets hurt in game #20? We are stuck with Coreau as a starter? That'd ensure the best odds in the draft lottery next year. We'd also all be way more miserable than we are today lol. At this point in Jimmy's career there is zero chance of him playing a full season. Have to protect Mrazek.

Bertuzzi came back to the ice after his 10 minute misconduct but sat in the grocery stick position on the bench separating the d and the forwards. I'm guessing they benched him to prevent him from doing anything stupid and possibly getting suspended. Pasquale was unreal when he came in. It was frustrating because everyone knew if they had gotten that kind of goaltending to begin with the game would have been well within reach by the 3rd.

Griffs looked a lot sharper tonight. Kind of went into a defensive shell towards the end but they held on. I'm drunk at the bars so I don't feel like going into details but solid game all around. Syracuse fans don't know hockey. No surprise. Wish I saw more from Svech and the other young guys. Frk took a really dumb penalty the eliminated a 5 on 3. Either way I hope to see them lift the cup again tomorrow.

If Coreau used his size to his advantage I think he would do a lot better. He's not a bad goalie he just needs to make some adjustments. Seeing him play in person last night it was obvious that he makes himself smaller when the shot is being released. It looks like there's no room then as soon as the shot is taken, holes everywhere.

I don't understand how someone so physically active can be that weak. I mean I haven't worked out consistently in 6 years but I can usually pull my fat ass up at least 5 times. That's legit pull ups too. None of that leg kick flailing bs lol.

If it's the Griffins and Syracuse in the finals again I'll be at every game in Cuse. I saw them win the Calder Cup there with Tatar and everyone. I'll watch them win it again with a new crop of future Wings.

I love playoff hockey. I can't watch any other sports because these games are too ******* awesome. Nothing compares

This team has so many D that contribute nothing to the offense. Green gets the puck and moves it up ice out of our zone. Sure he's not the greatest defensively but who on this team is? Yea he makes mistakes but that's what happens when you have the puck all the time.

How does Green keep getting lumped in with the dead weight on defense. The guy is still productive and currently this teams only capable defenseman. He's not holding any younger plays back. I haven't seen anyone on the Wings or the Griffins that can move the puck and contribute offensively like Green. I'm hoping some of the kids like Hronek, Saarijarvi, and Sambrook can become solid two way defenseman but they are realistically a couple years away and Green will be gone by then.

Seems like Bertuzzi really elevates his game in the playoffs. I hope he can do that for the Wings in the future.

He's playing with the Griffins in the AHL playoffs last time I checked. I don't get to see any games so I'm not sure how he looks. 1 goal in 4 games according to the AHL site so he hasn't played in every game.

I think part of Mrazek's problem is his style of play. He is very aggressive and comes out really far to cut down the angles. That's fine if you have a defense that can take away passing lanes and tie up guys in the slot. Our defense can't do any of that so I think he gets burned being out of position when teams move the puck a lot or get rebounds and deflections. I don't think Bishop is the answer however I think he's better than what we currently have. At this stage of the rebuild I just don't see the need to bring in a guy like that.

I think they are bringing all the youth into Detroit and Grand Rapids to see who could possibly be a part of this team in the future. Youth movement is in full effect now.
