We have the luxury of Hronek and Seider now, two player who Regula was never going to pass on the depth chart. 3rd pair right handed D isn't a hard spot to fill, making Regula expendable... Lindstrom, Saarijarvi, Bowey, Lindstrom, Tuomisto are all expendable too Perlini is a guaranteed 2/3 line forward and is still a young gun himself. We don't need to bottom out anymore, if you hadn't noticed we're already there. Literally why

Holland set to become GM of Oilers

Q is about 5 years older and has about 5 years of wins on Babs. Trotz is truly ahead of him. Didn't realize how young Maurice is... Let's say top 5

Regula would have paid off (if he does) in like 3-4 years. Is Yzerman accelerating?

Probably. But it's kind of fun to watch. We get to have like 1 trade a month now. Under Holland we got like 1 or 2 if we were lucky.
  17. Yet Larkin is better for it He's learning like Yzerman did before him. Meaning We're like 10 years away from a new dynasty beginning.

Holland set to become GM of Oilers

I'll admit with Biega/Erne/Perlini Yzerman has already proved he's the wheeler dealer Holland never was or was ever going to be Conservative Holland expectedly made very few moves with the Oilers this year, and actually signed old treads Jurco and Sheahan lol. Yzerman is probably better for us.

Perlini - Larkin - Mantha Bertuzzi - Filppula - Athanasiou Bertuzzi - Larkin - Mantha Perlini - Filppula - Athanasiou A 2nd line could actually be forming... Guess he wears the old Cleary double 1's yeah

Mantha, Bertuzzi, Athanasiou, Hirose, Erne, Perlini, DLR, Svech, and Ehn are all competing for new contracts with the big club for next year. This is good. Make these dumb losers fight for ice time and money. Push the weak down the depth chart. I would love for Perlini to make someone expendable... Looks big n fast Drafted 3 spots ahead of Larkin in 2014 too which means he's better

Right, Regula was probably never gonna pass Hronek or Seider on the depth chart Spaghetti friend for Veleno
  22. Keep in mind, Larkin is still a fresh 23 years old. Zberg was still scoring 40 pts a season at that age. And Datsyuk was scoring at about the same pace as Larkin is now. This kid still has his best years ahead of him.

Holland set to become GM of Oilers

Trolling in what sense? That people find the truth difficult to accept? Holland: Presided as GM over one of the most legendary dynasties in all of sports. His tenure is respected not just in the hockey community but across all sports. I believe even hockey illiterate ESPN ranked the Red Wings as the top run sports franchise for multiple years under his tenure. Future HOF GM easily. Babcock: Holds multiple stand alone records and accomplishments in coaching. Poised to become the 2nd winningest NHL coach of all time behind only Scotty Bowman. A Jack Adams and maybe another cup will likely finish him as one of the best NHL coaches of all time. Yzerman: Legendary hockey player. Won gold as GM of team Canada. Rebuilt the Lightning into a contender, but major accomplishments at the NHL level still allude him. Blashill: Has lost more than he's won at the NHL level. Has coached internationally, but hasn't been able to put any feathers in his cap. Interestingly enough not one of these 4 men have ever been fired at the NHL level (yet)
