No comment on the season, especially because I do agree the Wings will call him up. Just don't know when. My ceiling and floor is shifted probably 10-20 lower than yours. I think we have another Hudler/Filppula/Tatar/Nyquist on our hands. Good player, not a needle pusher.

It's almost like he stopped developing the moment we drafted. This entire preseason he has been slow, weak, and skating with his head down looking at the puck. You can see there are hands there, and you can see there is effort there, but his brain is stupid and his body is weak. When he finishes this season in the AHL he will be 6 months away from 21, and if he has less than 50 pts and less than 30 goals and is still getting out scored by Carter Camper he's gonna start smelling extra stinky for a 6th overall...
