TOR vs. BOS - Series Thread

Is that you Dennis Hendricks?? -
We'll have this movie about Bob Probert?

Yeah I know, which is why I'm suggesting Khabib would win today. Because GSP has aged out. If GSP was 5 years younger though it would be a helluva interesting fight.

UK: it's more the principal to me, the people have spoken and their government just doesn't care. That's a problem. France: I'd say there's some distinctions between dying for a movement and potentially just getting slaughtered -

Look at UK and France right now. UK: Oh the people voted wanna leave the EU? Ehhhh how about we just don't, what're they gonna do about it, shoot us? lol France: Oh the yellow vests are rising up? Ehhhh just send in the army, see how they feel about their movement and throwing rocks around when we point guns at them. -
4/9 2019 Draft Lottery GDT - Red Wings vs The World - 8:00 PM ET (NBCSN)
ChristopherReevesLegs replied to Dabura's topic in General
I would think it make some teams be motivated to sell earlier in the season, like maybe after thanksgiving or christmas. I would think it also jacks up the prices for players at the TDL, as now non-playoff GMs have motivation to hang on to those guys. -
Who's the Dr. now Sarah?

I just mostly think GSP is aging out. It would be interesting to see the strategy fersure. GSP knows Khabib wants to roll, so he's probably going to avoid that at all costs and make him stand up and slug, where, like you said, GSP has the advantage. But all Khabib really needs is one early/lucky takedown and then he can go to work on the mat wearing GSP down. I think that has to be Khabib's strategy. Get the older fighter down as early as possible and grind on him. You're probably not gonna get GSP to tap, but you can probably get the decision if you control the pace.

Ah I missed your post. This makes better sense, as it prevents the bubble teams from stealing the top picks every year. Yeah I like this system even more now. -
I would have liked to see them both go in their prime. Unfortunately I think Khabib would prolly wreck GSP now, but like 5 years ago? IDK

Gusev has been arguably the best player in the KHL the last few seasons, right up there with Kovalchuk. Tampa used a 7th on him because I think it was believed he'd never leave Russia. They traded his rights to Vegas at the expansion I believe as incentive not to select certain players.

So there's a system I really like that I think a buncha fans came up with that I just found out about called "The Gold Plan" In this system playoff teams are seeded normally at the draft by overall record. But non-playoff teams would be seeded by their record AFTER the TDL. Meaning the non-PO team with the best record after the TDL gets the #1 pick, and so on and so forth. So you can sell off your whole squad at the TDL for picks, but that might severely hurt your chances of getting a Top5 with your first. Under this system the draft order this year would be: 1. Detroit 2. LA 3. Ottawa (Colorado) 4. NJ 5. Florida 6. NYR 7. Anaheim 8. Vancouver 9. Buffalo 10. Chicago 11. Montreal 12. Edmonton 13. Arizona 14. Minnesota 15. Philly -

So IDK what you pay for car registration, but if you live in the city of Seattle it's anywhere between $200 to $1000 dollars a year, based on the value of your car, just for tags. Crazy right? Well they levied these huge fees on car registration in order to pay for a city-wide subway system (we currently have a very small system that needs to be greatly expanded). Now the city wants to levy EVEN MORE fees, this time to pay for a different light rail train system throughout the city, and all these daft coonts living in the city said "that sounds nice" and voted yes on it. I call them daft coonts because that subway system they promised to build with the first round of taxes? Never got built. Never even started construction. But no one seems to care or feel the need to hold the city accountable. They just vote yes on the next thing. Drives me nuts. I'm sure I'll get slapped with state income tax in order to build an elevator to the moon at some point, and by 2076 I still won't be walking on the moon. That's my vent for the day They can have her honestly -
Both going to follow each other to Florida, Breadman will be reunited with coach Q and cats will need a new goalie with Luongo being 40 and bad now. Dadonov is of similar age and also Russia. They have a solid young core of Barkov, Huberdeau, and Ekblad, with a very nice supporting cast of Hoffman, Dadonov, Trocheck, and Yandle... add Breadman and Bob to the list and they probably become a major contender under a coach who knows how to win playoff games. Panarin - Barkov - Dadonov Huberdeau - Trocheck - Hoffman whocares - whocares - whocares whocares -wc - wc Yandle - Ekblad Matheson - wc wc - wc Bobrovsky wc Duchene on the other hand will ride off to his next unsuspecting team to burn it all to the ground like the horseman of the apocalypse that he is.

Reminder that CBJ has 2 draft picks this year a 3rd and a 7th. Goodluck against Tampa i guess lmao

I figured duct taping a dead catfish to your body and walking around in 85 degree Nashville heat was punishment enough, but no PETA needs to remind everyone that they still exist -

Like you won't be complaining about Yzerman and a new coach a month into hiring them IDK it's weird man. I try not to bring it up, out of fear that they will realize and start taxing my income. We also have really loose gun laws for a bunch of socialists. I got my 9mm on my hip as we speak. Seattle wasn't always as techy liberal elitist as it is now. 20 years ago it was a working class town still.
