Yeah, probably one of the reasons he's a Hab lifer lol This last season was BAD for him, which is making the contract look worse. But he's had health issues and he'll probably bounce back. Cap hit is probably high, but it's the term I really disagree with though. I wish Bergevin and his multiple massive hit/term contracts all the best of luck lol

Now compare his 2nd year goals to Datsyuk's 2nd year goals. And don't try to dodge it.

If Dallas had taken Veleno at 13, or whatever position he was "supposed to go at" he would be on that list. Rasmussen not making the list is also extremely suspect. Just like with draft rankings, most of these ranks are likely super inaccurate relative to where these players actually turn out in the league. But it's fun to look at and cool to see Zadina so high up.

Well you tried, but maybe you didn't JO to enough of the fat men, cause you did a terrible job. Statistically AA did much worse than Kocur in their first seasons. It's not even close actually. AA had a measly 28 penalty minutes in his first season. Kocur had 377. AA is never going to be the player that Kocur was.

What are you asking? I'm telling you your opinion of AA. EDIT: Now that you've been told what your opinion is please compare Joey Kocur and AA's first seasons, go.

You're awfully confused. Same tone. AA very much is the new Mrazek in my so humble opinion. AKA he is the most divisive player. The player this board is going to fight about this coming year. And you're proving this theory of mine is correct. You've been trying to stoke a fight with me about AA for the last 3 pages, despite me telling you that I like AA, think he's a talented player, and that I'm optimistic about him going forward lol it's truly bizarre. I also think Franzen is divisive and I like him as a player. Yeah I'm excited to see what kind of player Zadina is and what exactly we've got on our hands. But personally, at this point, I'm still more excited to watch AA's season. Zadina could secretly be awful (admittedly unlikely), or need time to develop in the minors, or might be a boring player like I would say Zetterberg kinda is (not flashy). With AA I know exactly what were getting. High-speed highlight reel dangles and snips. At the end of the day that's my guilty pleasure. And he'll probably do more of them this year unless other teams really crack down me thinks.

I'm right on board with all this partner. Despite all the arguments from straw men in this thread, AA is actually probably the player I'm most excited to watch this coming season.

AA definitely has s*** to work on, as the vast majority of young players do. His faults are just extremely obvious, which is why he's under the microscope on this team right now. He's got the talent to score a lot more than 30 pts though. He isn't a Jurco type that couldn't bring it on the NHL stage. AA has shown us he can. If he works on his s*** and earns more ice time his scoring will go up up up
