Srsly tho, i got to see Brian speak at an event a couple years ago, and he took questions too. He spoke mostly about his expierence in law, but the man is seriously a bonafide badass away from the cameras and hockey. It's not an act at all. He literally just does not give a flying f*** what anyone thinks about him, and hes honest AF about everything. If I remember correctly someone asked him a very specific question that was borderline a little too personal/private, and he responded "cause f*** you, thats why". He said this very non-chalantly, with no anger, in front of a room of professionals in suits. My sides entered saturns orbit.

I've been meaning to make this point for a while now... I think Evgeny Svechnikov sucks. I dont think he has a high enough skill level to play in an NHL top 6, and i don't think he has the defense/intangibles to be an NHL bottom 6er. Essentially IMO hes a Damien Brunner type. I would trade Svech b4 anyone else discovers this, b4 his stock plummets. Obvi hope im wrong, but then again ive never ever been wrong Fight me

Normally you see some type of point progression out of a draft pick, and even then they usually dont make the team. Were not even seeing that normal progression out of any of these guys, and in some cases were seeing regression. Like I said, it's too early to call it, but holyyyy smokes no progress is not good at all.

With the 2018 draft approaching it's time to revisit the 2017 draft It's bad Outside of Rasmussen, almost all our other picks either showed no progression, or complete regression 1. Rasmussen - WHL playoffs. Hes a beast. 2. Lindstrom - very slight point progression. Not very promising for a two way Dman. 3. Kotkansalo - moved to NCAA. Poor season. Hopefully similar to Cholowski and will find his game but who knows. 4. Zablocki - moved multiple times during the season. Total point regression. 5. Gallant - no progression on previous season. 6. Petruzelli - moved to NCAA. Not a great season. Hopefully adjusts to better league. 7. Setkov - not a lot of data to compare, but had a pretty unimpressive season. 8. Fraser - no progression on previous season. 9. Adams - moved to NCAA. Pretty blah season. 10. Webb - traded once. No progression. 11. Gilmour - no progression on previous season. Too early to call, but signs arent exactly great on this draft class.

Mrazek could be a decent walleye goalie for us until Petruzelli is ready to waste his adult life in Toledo
