Igor corrects himself right after this tweet to "not there". So basically Sorokin won't sign with the Isles until Snow is fired (Eronko is a very reliable source). Sorokin was a 3rd rounder for the Isles in 2014 and has been one of the most dominant goalies in the KHL since then. He's only 22 now, but has been Moscow's starting goalie for I believe 3 seasons now. 1. We should consider trading for the rights to this kid 2. I think the team will be worse next year for a variety of reasons. Still think you trade that pick. Theres 21 picks lower than this. Chances say its more likely gonna be one of those next season. Not gonna gamble a 6th overall on what I think might happen.

Let me tell you why you're wrong... Holland gives special treatment to Michigan boys. The only reason Hughes is ranked this high is because he's from Michigan. Michigan boys are always overrated in the draft by all teams. Stupid Michigan. Holland would rather have a Michigan team than a good team. What we need is more Western Canadians on this team. Specifically, boys from BC or Alberta. Men from these regions are genetically predisposed to playing a gritty more physical style of hockey, which I'm sure Mackel would agree, we need.
