Everyone is waiting on Bergevin to trade Galchenyuk, which means Pacioretty is as good as gone.

Griffins Calder Cup Playoffs Thread

Kip, i get your idea, i like your idea, but Frk aint the one. Frk is never gonna be an NHLer. Pulks was better than he is, and Pulks aint diddly in the NHL. Id rather bring back Hudler Nosek is a slightly better Andersson, and more suited for the NHL than Frk, and i seriously doubt he will last long in the NHL -
Griffins Calder Cup Playoffs Thread

Nosek and Frk wont do diddly in the NHL. See: Andersson, Nestrasil, Pulkkinen, Jurco, Emmerton, and probably some other forgetable players Im missing. They are high end minor leaguers, and theyll be back in europe sooner than later. Svech and Bert are the only ones on that team with NHL potential. Mini bert id rather overripen for one more season in the AHL in the hopes he acheives NHLness -
Wew lads, apparently there is a 7 team bidding war for Jordan Eberle right now. I love expansion years. Much excite.
-
Andersson had him ranked in the top 10 among european born players. We got that player with a 7th round pick. Not sure how anyone could be anything but thrilled by that.

Eric Engels: Very very likely Galchenyuk will be traded for a D-man now
-
Habs hand Drouin a new contract: 6 years @ 5.5 per Ken Campbell reporting: With the Drouin acquisition, Beregvin is no longer listening to offers on Galchenyuk, he's actively shopping him. Maybe a Brodin/Galchenyuk deal?

Sounds like big balls Bergevin isn't done yet. Mckenzie says the team to watch now is Minny. Brodin talks are heating up with lots of interest coming from the Habs. Sounds like they will try to replace Sergachev with Brodin. On that note as well, contract talks with Radulov have halted. If he doesn't come down on his asking price Rads may hit the open market. -
Two reallys. I think he's serious mate.

Mods please close this thread

He wouldn't have exposed Drouin though. He likely would've been forced to expose Killorn. Personally I would've said bye bye Killorn and held on to Drouin. But I guess if Sergachev turns out elite it will change that.
-
I think Stevie is taking much more of a risk on this one though, than Bergevin is.
-
No kidding, Habs top 6 just became: Pacorietty - Galcheyuk - Radulov Drouin - Plekanec - Gallagher That's pretty nice
-
Here are the conditions on the picks... If Sergachev plays less than 40 games for Tampa this year, then the picks are exchanged. If he plays more than 40 games for Tampa the picks are not exchanged.
-
Habs receive a conditional 6th and Tamps receives a conditional 2nd as well. No word on the conditions yet. Sergachev has only played 4 games in the NHL. He was the Habs number 1 prospect but still... I would have wanted a more established player for a proven talent like Drouin.
-
Pagnotta made it sound like Yzerman will be very picky in a deal for Drouin. Not sure if we have what it takes to get him. I know Tampa wants D unfortunately.
-
Yzerman is apparently listening to offers on more than a few players in Tampa Drouin (has to be the right offer, Habs have expressed interest OBVIOUSLY) Johnson (Habs have also expressed interest on) Garrison Killorn
-
So what kind of D-man is he in your mind? A sloppy 2nds kinda guy?
-
Even if we're on his list of teams, there's just no way with our cap situation and there's it could possibly work out.
-
YOU SUCK
-
IDK, I thought he played really well on the 2nd pair for Ottawa. I think he's a high-end 2nd pairing guy, not a 1st pairing guy like Toronto wanted him to be. It's his cap hit that sucks.

I'd think you'd see Coreau and Machovsky get chances. Sadly, Mrazek wasn't much better than Coreau at times last season. -
Francois Beauchemin bought out be the Avs. I know the Ducks still love this guy. Could be an inexpensive addition, but I'm sure he's slowed with age, and we don't need that. Lots of trade talk surrounding Phaneuf. He has a list of 10 teams he can be traded to (not 12 as previously reported). As most of you I'm sure remember we were rumored to have interest before he was moved to Otttawa.
