Yup. And big ben looks like he wants a big contract with big term. He's been traded around a lot, so I'm guessing he's going to go to any team that will offer that stability. Dallas is going to have to pony up, for ANOTHER goalie lol. Also, with the Duckies advancing, that pick in the Eaves trade becomes a first rounder. Agreed. Karlsson is well on his way to becoming, if not already, the 2nd best Swedish D-man of all time. Karlsson has started blocking a lot more shots this season too. I think Karlsson is a bit more offensively dynamic than Lidstrom, and would have made a great forward. But with Lidstrom you can watch just his defensive highlights and be entertained by the level of skill. Karlsson doesn't have that elite shutdown ability IMO. -

You really thought Bishop might come here? We have 2 decent goalies locked up and a decent backup on the way. Dallas, Winnipeg, Calgary, and the Canes are gunning for goalies. Not us. So far Dallas just has the rights to talk to him first. Buffalo did this with Vesey last summer. Let's see how it pans out. Bishop was asking 6+ million and 6 years out of Calgary, and mind you he's 30.
