It's a motif in Eminem's early works. Happen to be a big fan. Also the shock value.

From now on LGW is a Bing family

Hmmmm when you google search "nhl trade deadline 2017 date" an unclickable box appears at the top saying Tuesday the 28th.
-
Nope, February 28th.

There's a reason Vanek and Ott were co-captains of the Sabres together. Vanek was far and away their best player, but had zero leadership ability. Ott was far from their best player, but had a ton of character. Guy jaws a lot and can rack up pims, but behind the scenes he's a big softie Cleary type.

Chris Pronger and Marc Savard are both 2017 UFAs. Both guys are decent players who've had oddly low numbers the past few seasons.
-
Yotes trade Michael Stone to CGY for a 3rd and conditional 5th So maybe we can get a 4th for Smith?
-
Glendening is taking 0.39 FOs per shift Ott is taking 0.27 FOs per shift dare we figure out how long their average shifts are?
-
Has The Donald admonished Trudeau yet?
-
Good point. Ott = 647 shifts, 430.09 Total ice time, average 10:30 per game. Glendog = 1,216 shifts, 803.17 Total ice time, average 13:36 per game
-
For reference Ott has taken 175 FOs in 41 GP. 58.3% success rate. Glendog has taken 478 FOs in 59 GP. 54.4% success rate.
-
In that case it's Ott hands down, everytime, ten times outta ten. Prime Ott > Any Glendening (including future)
-
Pretty dick move to claim someones guy and then not play them.
-
Ott is sassy and I like that about him

When Sweden send us their hockey players, they're not sending us their best folks

Not sure how he looked in Ottawa but he was pretty bad here and in Buffalo. Shame that Nashvilles first ever draft selection and long time #1 center had to go out that way. He's still their franchise leader in games played and points. Think he owns the Sarnia Sting now.

No problem. Almost posted it in this thread originally. Cheers.

I have a lot of family in Rochester, and two nephews of mine went to highschool with Jake Trouba. Asked them yesterday snd they said he was a "mommas boy" and didnt have a ton of friends. No trade.
-
He was willing to waive his NTC to come to Detroit. Hes a Detroit native. I think he was hoping it would be a new oppurtunity to earn a spot in a depleted line up. Holland probably thought the same. Didnt work out. Had a lot less gas in the tank than I think either party realized. It was an ok little experiment. Didnt cost us much.

http://www.mlive.com/redwings/index.ssf/2017/02/ask_ansar_on_future_of_red_win_2.html#incart_river_index Ansar's thoughts: In regards to Assistant coaching changes... In regards to Vanek... In regards to trading either Tatar or Nyquist... In regards to trading Mike Green... In regards to young guns... So Blashill is here for the rest of year at the very least. Vanek is gone for good. Green likely staying for at least one more season. Perhaps a deal for Tatar or Nyquist will get done in offseason? Looking at you Trouba.

I remember the rumor back in October that Chevy asked for Larkin in return. Certainly seems like attitudes have changed. Most scoffed in October. Larkin is still someone I would not move personally. He'll be a top line center at some point IMO
-
It was not very often. Maybe a few games a year if that. However, always made me wonder why Babs did that with him and not other bottom 6 players like Miller etc. I always thought it was for the RH shot, but I think Babs and Ruff both saw that Eaves had potential to be a decent contributor in the top 6. He's very smart player, just lacks some of the necessary talent.
-
He played on the top line a few times under Babs, but not like he is with Ruff in Dallas
