Im not sure if we do or not. This organization has definitely had its talent poached though. Yzerman, Nill, Babs. And i know yzerman brought some of our scouts and minds with him to tampa. Not sure if Nill did the same. So yes weve been bled, but i cant comment on those whove replaced that talent.

Scoring isnt all about your forwards. Have to give in order to recieve. Thats how trading works.

Howard has had his ups and downs sure, but nothing like mrazeks track record. Howard is an established starter in this league. An elite starter? No. An average starter? Yes. Mraz has how many decent games in this league lol? Kid fell apart in the playoffs and never picked up the pieces apparently. I still need someone to explain to me how were going to trade our best goalie who also has an ntc as well.

Mrazek has played how many years of good games again? Perhaps you should look up what an mntc is as well.

No way they send down Mrazek. Just ride Howard when he returns while Mraz rides the pine. let Coreau go down, then trade Mraz at the deadline or the draft and bring Coreau back up if the wings really wanna go with coreau now. Howard has a mntc and is the better goalie. Very unlikely he gets traded

Do not listen to the naysayers. I used to work downtown. We spit on the folks that go to American coney island (figuratively). If you want more of a sit down place thats got real detroit heart n soul, and isnt a fake hokey tourist attraction like hockeytown cafe. Go to polish village cafe in Hamtramck. Its a neighborhood in detroit. Hands down best polish food ive ever had anywhere (not polish and never been to poland). Place is packed 24/7 thou so get there with some time to spare. Detroit staple.

Trade Sheahan, Jurco, Mraz, Tatar, Smith, and Nyquist. In packages or all single trades if i have to. Whatever works. In return seek a steady back up goalie for Howard. Someone who wont be demanding huge bucks in the near future. At least 2 Dmen that I believe can help the team. And 1-2 forwards that can help the team. Ideally 1 higher end forward and then promote from within. And if theres any left over value bring in some extra draft picks. Retool the entire structure of the team on the fly. FYI I want to keep Green and Vanek bc they are good. I see Nielsen and Ericsson as untradeable due to NTC. I want to keep Zberg and Kronwall bc i am a man of honor. And i feel Abby and Helm wont get the return i want, so just keep them as lockerroom leaders and roleplayers.

Mrazek should sit though. I dont want him embarrassing himself any further so that he still has some value at the deadline.

I think hes great behind the bench and in front of the media. And i think its good for the league too. Hes pretty much the only coach that i turn the volume up for. Real talk, no BS. Treats his players the same and hes got that squad of young ones firing on all cylinders.

Burns is a forward playing D. He needs a shutdown guy with him to cover his ace at all times or hes no good. I definately wouldnt rebuild just because Jumbo retires. We didnt when Stevie retired.
