12/17 - CRL GDT - Jackies @ Wingsys 4:30 PST
ChristopherReevesLegs replied to ChristopherReevesLegs's topic in General
That's right. These are quiet honest folk round here. They don't need all that hypey hoopla gettin' everybody all worked up. So just go about ya own business and keep things between the lines now -
WHAT's why? An excuse? If I believe Zadina = Hudler how is that an excuse for anything? It would be right on par with my beliefs. I think you don't like my beliefs and ur butt hurt that I freely post them But muh Zadina young Muh Zadina already betta than Huds Sure man. Why do you think he's more complete? Why do you think his hockey IQ is higher? I can tell you exactly why I disagree in paragraphs of critical detail, but I rarely get the same in return. I invite the analysis.

Well well well, It's been a while. Some things have changed around here as you can see. I'M in charge of the GDTs now... -
You're suggesting I'm "getting ahead of this" and "coming up with excuses"... You really think I've been "getting ahead of this" for over a year now just to lay the ground work for "an excuse" for Zadina scoring on a top line? I mean if you really think that I'll take it as a compliment. But even I would doubt that I have that level of strategic foresight lol In reality I've been very harsh but fair with Zadina. I've praised him for what he does well and been critical of what he doesn't. And I've concluded he's a lot like Hudler. Not my fault you all have reduced that critiscm and comparison to Hudler to "Zadina sux", though to be fair I played along with it with my s*** posting If Zadina goes on a tear here good for him. I will gloat that I rightly predicted he's Hudlering the top line. If you wanna equate that with he sux... well oh well I guess. I don't think Hudler sucked. I think he was a good but not great player.
-
So then why post this nonsense?
-
I been sayin Zadina is Hudler 2.0 for a long time now

Mantha and Larkin bout to do to Zadina what Monahan and Gaudreau did to Hudler

Hands down always my favorite paradoxical response How are we supposed to know you're posting cancer if we don't read it first? Not to mention: Posts on discussion board for others to read. Asks others not to read it... Big brain. Big think.

Sure, I don't enjoy losing players on waivers for nothing. I'm not pro-losing Comrie, just apathetic about it. If Yzerman doesn't need him, then neither do I. And the whole Saarijarvi/Comrie is a failed trade in that sense. In general it is refreshing to have a manager that is much more critical of his roster, and is willing to cast off the un-needed without blinking.
-
The December trade is coming, I can feel it. Any idea who would be available or who you'd want from the Flames or Avs?
-
I remember when Yzerman chose not to re-sign Axel Holmstrom. Now THOSE were harrowing times. Yzerman was seemingly content just to let a young asset go for NOTHING, nada, zilch. I couldn't believe it. Still can't believe it. Why didn't he get a late pick for him??? That was far from proper asset management. Now HV71 has a 23 year old Holmstrom they were able to get for FREE. Get a brain Yzerman, ya moran
-
"Heh heh look at all these Saarijarvi's and Comrie's I've got. To think people would leave perfectly good Saarijarvi's and Comrie's lying around in dumpsters. Heh heh FOOLS! Fools I tell ya."
-
1. No ones giving up picks for failed prospects who can hardly hold a job in the AHL 2. He signed Pickard to be an AHL goalie. Pickard has no future in the NHL. And Larsson is entirely not ready for even the AHL. At least with Comrie he gave someone who coulda been good a shot. Didn't work out. Plus he owed us our monthly trade, and I GET my monthly trades... 3. Wasn't gonna get a pick for Saarijarvi. Yzerman is experimenting and throwing s*** at the walls. Again, I always find it fascinating that the small transactions sometimes garner the highest scrutiny. At the end of the day Saari does not matter. Comrie does not matter. Who cares. Ur repeating what I said back to me No one wants Saarijarvi. Chayka didn't want Saarijarvi. He jumped at the opportunity to get anything for Comrie. Again, Saarijarvi probably won't be in even in the AHL next year unless he signs an AHL exclusive contract.

Yzerman and crew got their hands on Comrie for 2 and half weeks and weren't impressed enough to keep him around. That's about all I need in order to know that Comrie is a useless bag of trash. #YzerPlan -

I'm with you, our goal-tending needs vast improvement. Comrie wasn't an improvement anymore than Pickard is though. Yzerman's likely gonna go a whole different direction this summer, and that won't include Comrie, which is a good thing. Comrie's an AHL goalie. -

Yeah they literally had 3 roster goalies before Comrie. Ideally you should have like 5. -
He's gone quiet on twitter about Fabbri I'm sure it's because he already knows Fabbri will be in Austria next season is all BRUH HE DELETED ALL HIS OLD TWEETS THAT WERE POOPING ON FABBRI hahaha

Gimme Muh Monthly Yzer-Trade

Thanks. As much as I like Larionov, I'd say let him get his feet a lot wetter than assistant coach for 4-7 games at the WJC before handing him an NHL lockerroom. Lots of former greats try coaching and aren't any good. Look at Chelios for us a few years ago. -
Totes disagree. Firstly, I certainly would NOT send out my 7th for Saarijarvi. Secondly, you can trade chicken bones if you're willing to get back chicken bones. Comrie is chicken bones. Albeit, chicken bones that were momentarily useful for us. Everyone and their mother seemed to know Winnipeg was claiming Comrie back if he went to waivers. And if Yzerman was willing to do shop with Chayka on it, he knew too. Yzerman gave up Comrie for free, showing how little Comrie vectored into his long term plans and how little he cares for the opinions of an overly critical fanbase. Chayka on the other end got to look smart in front of his fanbase by trading chicken bones for chicken bones instead of giving away his chicken bones.

**Yzerman throws chicken bones from lunch in the trash** NyqFuture: "What're you doing?!?!? Giving up chicken bones for nothing??? Goddamn moron!"

They brought in Varly to get Sorokin But Varly's presence might keep them from getting Sorokin
