Bowey definitely has all the tools needed. Hard shot, can skate, big, can play physical. But he reminds me so much of Kindl/Smith. That is, he doesn't know how to use his tool box. Lack of IQ. Say what you will about Ericsson, but E is probably the opposite of this. He has no offense, can barely skate, but at least plays the game simple and is positionaly sound. E has IQ (at least enough to barely squeak out a job). Bowey shows flashes of what he has, but it's not nearly enough to be an NHL regular. And as he'll be 25 in about 5 months that window is shutting quickly. Unfortunately, IMO, I think we're looking at finished product here.

I don't think Biega and Daley get a pass bc they played less games, I think they get a pass bc they're both better Dmen than Madison Bowey. Yzerman seems to agree at this point.

Like what's the point of keeping the extra ELC year anyway? Are we gonna be competitive and need the cap space that year? No, so fuq it. Finally Zadina is in the top 6. Can't wait to see what he can do with elite power forward Luke Glendening. I suspect Yzerman was keeping Bowey on the team to make an attractive piece of trade bait. But he is just too awful at this point that it's actually hurting his value. It's not Seider time yet, but the age of McIlrath-Biega is upon us.

I live in the Little Caesars Arena Buillding on Woodward Ave on the ground floor. My name is Christopher Ehn. I’m 23 years old. I believe in blending in, and not being noticed by my coaches or fans, and sometimes I do some push-ups. In the morning if my face is a little puffy, I'll splash water on it and do more push-ups. I can do seven now. After I dry off the water, I use a hand sanitizer from Walmart. In the shower, I use an old bar of soap. With a loofah. And on the face, that same bar of soap. Then I apply an Elmers glue facial masque which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you more noticeable to your coach. Then I stare blankly at a wall until my none-NPC teammates arrive to pick me up for practice. There is an idea of a Christopher Ehn. Some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me. Only an entity. Something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours, and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable, I simply am not there.

I could see matching Bernier (3 mil) and giving him that for 1 more year. Will depend what the goalie market looks like this summer. Their might be more and better teams than us going after Markstrom.

We'll see. Howard was really only abysmal for that 5-6 game stretch in November. Wouldn't surprise me for him to comeback from this injury and finish out a completely average Jimmy Howard season and get re-signed. We'll see I guess. But I agree we should be trying things like Comrie. We don't look too good in the net department in the immediate future.

Just got done cutting my own hair for the first time. Didn't turn out half bad. Got myself a quality clipper on Amazon for like $20 bucks and came with every guard size imaginable. Took me about 15 minutes to properly clean up. Left her a lil longer on top. So ask yourself, why are you still a slave to the barber/salon industry? Making an appointment, getting in your car to drive down there, forking over 20-50 bucks for a visit every month...
