If I'm not mistaken WMU switched him from winger to defense. There using him as there big body shutdown D-man. He belongs on the 4th line wing like where he was when we drafted him. There he doesn't have the high level of defensive responsibility and can focus on keeping the flies off.

Sure Polak has some weight to him, but we're not trading big bodies like Mantha for him. Mantha is the new Franzen. He will be elite, but people will still moan cause "truculence" and "streakiness"

Petr is barely above 90% and allowing almost 3 goals a game. Top that off with his poor play in playoff games. My sanity isn't the one on trial here. Howard is the superior goalie right now, and my b**** wife says Coreau is pretty good, but I always take that with a grain of salt.

We lack elite talent. Babcock bailed. Datsyuk bailed. Zetterberg is a shell. Kronwall is a shell. Tatar, Nyquist, Abby, Vanek, Larkin, Nielsen are all at best 2nd line players right now. Maybe if Franzen didn't bang himself up so much we'd have some elite level talent on this team right now.

Solid goalie. NTC and multiple big money years left on his contract. He's not being showcased, there's no way to move him. Mrazek has failed to live up to the hype and should be traded.

Still would much rather give up Jurco over Sheahan in the expansion. Jurco is large, but Sheahan is a BIG BOY. A whole 2 inches taller and 20 lbs heavier. Wish my b**** wife would've given me some strong sons like that.
