As a follow-up to my previous post, looks Nielson won't be a wing or a griffin to start the season.

Sending down Veleno to keep Nielson would be retarted. If Nielson starts on the NHL roster and Veleno, Raymond and Berggren all start in Grand Rapids, I'll be boycotting this season and watching the Griffins instead.

Okay so I screwed up my previous post about the return for Athanasiou. I remembered the 3rd rounder we traded for Nedolkovic was acquired from Vegas for Tatar. So the official return for Tatar is Joe Veleno, Robert Mastrosimone and Alex Nedelkovic.

So the official return for Andreas Athanasiou is Robert Mastrosimone, Theodor Niederbach, Alexander Nedelkovich, and either Sam Stange or Jan Bednar.

My mind's made up that Eklund is THE guy I want. If he goes top 5, Yzerman can take whoever he wants and I'll trust the pick, despite Yzerman not really having great track record of first round picks in Tampa.
