I just finished taking the Wings on a 16-1 2028 stanley cup run.

My only problem with the Rangers getting 1st overall is, as I mentioned earlier, that division has been WAY too lucky in the lottery that last 4 years.

The Metro wins another top 3 pick, and they get 1st overall for the 3rd time in 5 years.

So since Edmonton technically missed the playoffs, their picking top 15 in every round?

Seems like 4th best odds actually gives you the best odds of picking in the top 3. 2016-Columbus moves up from 4 to 3. 2018-Montreal moves up from 4 to 3. 2020-Los Angeles moves up from 4 to 2. And then of course there's 2019... further evidence that the league is using the lottery to screw the Wings.

Yzerman seems to like work ethic and hockey iq. From what I've read, Raymond and Perfetti possess those things.

With our luck, we'll finally get a 1st overall pick in a year where the projected pick is someone like Nugent-Hopkins or Hishier.

You know what sucks even more about this? Next year, we're gonna get screwed by not only the lottery, but also Seattle. Unless we finish 30th or 31st, There's the possibility of dropping 4 spots instead of 3.

I'd be happy with: Raymond, Rossi, Drysdale I'd be ok with: Askarov Anyone else I feel would be a waste at 4.

I've added Raymond, Rossi, and Drysdale to my Wings prospect team in NHL 20.

It's not even a coin toss between top 3 or 4th. It's a coin toss between 1st and 4th.

Thinking back, I think the Wings are the only team in 5 years to drop multiple spots 3 times.

After last year, only Vancouver had dropped more and I believe Arizona was tied. But now...

Also, we only lost 2 spots in 17 due to the lottery because Vegas knocked everyone outside the top 3 down a spot. We also fell from from 5 in 18, not 3.
