    There's actually been 3 lotteries with this format, and maybe it's a good thing we're not in LA or Jersey's position right now, because the teams with 2nd and 3rd best odds have dropped at least 2 spots all 3 years. Then again, maybe this is the year one of those teams gets lucky.

    I'd be lying if I said I didn't want Bert to hit 20 goals. It's really too late to do anything about it anyway. All I can hope for now is that we don't pass anyone else in the standings. And now that I've said that, the Rangers are gonna get Hughes aren't they?

    You know what, I'll confess. I went to a game against Tampa in early December, and if that game wasn't so d**n entertaining to watch, I probably would have been disappointed with the loss. So I can definitely understand why people who pay to watch the team live would want a win. As for my expectations, I don't expect anyone to boo or root against their team. However, I'm more worried at the prospect of losing the lottery than I am excited about winning it.

    My main problem with blashill is player usage and the fact the team often isn't ready to start games.

    Yeah, but like I said, if we don't win the lottery, I'd much rather pick 4th or 5th then 7th or 8th.

    If we're gonna drop multiple spots in the draft, which looks really likely right now, I'd rather drop to 4th or 5th then 7th or 8th. The way this team is going right now, there headed towards the latter, which would be a monumental disappointment imo. Now if the balls fall in our favor, this is all a moot point, but I'd rather rely on luck as little as possible.
