In general swedes like finns more than vice versa. In Finland the swedes have been tradionally part of the ruling class and in sweden the finns have been mostly categorised as cheap labour. In Norrland(where I’m from) its more even though, I think. We can both unite in our disdain for Stockholm. Sadly I live here now. If you go all the way to the top of Norrland swedes and finns are totally bros I imagine. I’m not really sure about which of mexico or canada I would compare it to. Look at it this way: Finland was for a very long time a part of Sweden. They still teach swedish in finnish schools and we sort of have a common history. Language is f***ed though. Denmark are our biggest rivals. No other countries have started more wars between them than swe-den. Danish sounds like swedish if spoken with a hot potato in your mouth. Nobody cares about Norway. They had dirt roads up until the seventies. The only time we pay any attention to them is when we are competing in cross country skiing. Which we don’t really care about anyway.
