I’m just happy that Colorado wasn’t rewarded for Ottawas incompetence. Really starting not to like New Jersey though. Shameless tankjob. Read somewhere that they’ve ended two of the last three seasons with losing 21 out of 24.

No. Its stipulated within the CBA that all NHL-players must have a nickname beginning with the players first or last name and ending with either -y/ie or -er. Some abbrevations may be allowed(e.g. ”Ovie”)

I never got it why people thinks that it was Holland who wanted the streak alive or not wantning to go into rebuild. The owners set the course. Its their team. If they want to try to keep winning the GM’s doesn’t get to say otherwise. A GM’s jobb is to execute the orders from owners and if they don’t do that and, say, plunge the team into rebuild without consent of the ownership they will lose their job and probably not find a new one in the NHL.

Yeah I know but was thinking that Tampa’s gonna be strapped for cap space and that Abdelkaders deal fits well with their cup window. And you could sell Abby with the pitch that he put up respectable numbers with Dats and that Tampa too have great centers. (not saying it’s a easy sell)

So, which bandwagon are we on? Personally I root for the Sharks. Big fan of EK and hoping to improve our trade. Also cheering for Goose of course! In the east I kinda hope that Columbus have some success solely for the purpose of encouraging GM’s to be more aggressive at the trade deadline. But really; every single team in the east can suck ma balls!

Am I completely out of the realm of possibility if I suggest we trade Abdelkader for Ondrej Palat? Seeing some Bolts fans saying he’s fallen off the last two seasons. Guy is still youngish(28) and I think the numbers kinda works. We get a younger guy with a shorter contract and the Bolts save 1 milion and get, well, grit and stuff. And we get to expand our czech nation in the locker room!

Also really warming up to the idea of drafting Cozens. Should be a great fit in our forward group. RH to boot! We got this. Can’t see the Wings losing this one. Buf sucks bad.
