I was kinda expecting future considerations but I guess we got a 7th for retaining. Armstrong and Yzerman keep working together. A lot of people are not happy with him in St Louis. Wouldn’t be surprised if he joins Red Wings management if let go by the Blues. Unless he gets a real job, that is.

Avs gonna cruise to the SCF and face whatever bloody pulp of a team thats left from the eastern conference. But I think they will really miss Kadri come playoff time.

What choice do they have when looking at their competitors in the east? Its still mostly lateral moves I think, as usual with the Leafs. Sandin out, Schenn in. Muzzin hurt, McCabe acquired. Ryan O’Reilly possibly a good deal for them, though.

Tampa basically gave their amateur scouting team the rest of the season off. Bruins, Rags, Isles, Bolts, Devils and Laffs all have made trades to strengthen their team. Me thinks Canes are about to do something stupid.

I still think what they payed for Jeannot is stupid but I’m a fan of this approach. Go HAM for the next 3 years and then start offloading star players to get your picks back. This never happens to us though.
