Would like to add that Boustedt also was the head of the Swedish National development program for a long time starting in 2002. And if you look at the prospects coming out of Sweden for the last 10-15 years I would say he was fairly succesfull in that role. A good hire!

As you know I’m going to Barcelona sometime in this fall. My friend who I’m visiting says you have to have a negative test no more than 72 hrs old or a (full) vaxx certificate. But even so you have to fill out some healthform before traveling there. It creates a QR code that you show when entering the country. Don’t really know anything about the other countries. Just stay updated I guess.

Cheap veterans on 1-year contracts doesn’t block prospects from getting their shot. It’s giving long extensions to declining players that do. Adding a Anisimov or a Staal is fine with me.

I don’t know if I think he is overpayed. If you look at his production last season he certainly isn’t. I just thought that Yzerman would get him signed for under $2m. I agree with you both. It’s only for two years so it doesn’t really matter.
