I do believe that the KH hate over the years was overblown. The streak was a mandate so I don't even blame him for stretching it out for as long as he did. And I don't think he is a BAD GM. He is just better as a tinkerer than as a builder/rebuilder.
Owners decide which way the GM goes. Holland had no other choice than trying to prolong the streak. Unfortunately he didn’t do a good enough job.
