The Chiarot and Petry deals are tremendous eye sores for the Wings right now. The SCAM is making really poor choices atm. Broberg, Edvinsson, Johansson, ASP @ 8 mil. OR Chiarot, Petry, Lagesson, Gustafsson @ 11 mil. He could have made trades with EDM to help them save face, too. Same bullshet as Holland. The SCAM is a chickenshet fraud. Works 3 days a year and coasts the rest. I DON'T trust the Yzerplan at the moment. The Red Wings are one knee injury away from needing to completely restart this rebuild. It happened in the past. Do we all think we can just avoid injuries forever now? I dont.

Yah, I feel like a Berggren-Danielson-MBN line could be the best "3rd Line" in the league. 15 minutes a night regular season, then 22 minutes a night playoffs. All 3 play both ways, and all 3 are hungry. Going to be interesting to see what happens this year. What I like about this guy is probably exactly what I think you like about this guy. All his highlights are even strength, and they're not all tap in goals from someone else's work. Some of them are hits, some of them are him taking penalties, and some of them are him sniping goals from the 30-40'. These are exactly the things ALL NHL teams are short on. Everybody has a guy like Debrincat that can float around on power plays and pick up 50 of his 60 points on the man advantage. Do you need a guy like that? Sure. Not saying he doesn't have a place. But guys like MBN put a team over the top when the refs tighten up in the playoffs and you need to grind. I think we got a good one in him. I really don't care about his goal scoring, tbh. It's nice, but it's not what makes me want him in the wheel. I like him because he presses the play without the puck. He's always moving and doing something. He's a guy that's going to require minimal coaching. If he hits the weight pile and gets ripped, he'll be a good one. Floor Lapointe, Ceiling Shanahan.

Well, thats it. No other GM will trade with the Blues GM now for 25 years. He's blackballed. Cuz Axl says that how thing work. My guess is this is being orchestrated by Bettman and the teams. 7 mil for those 2 guys is pretty much fair market. If I was the agent of either of those 2, Id be seeking a lot more annually and a lot more term. Slafkovsky got 9 mil x 8 years. Why would Holloway take 2x2 and Broberg take 4.5x2? Seider isnt going to take 4.5x2. He's a bum that hasnt played 1 playoff game while Broberg has excelled in the SCF. If Broberg isnt offersheeted max to 1st and 3rd rnder (6.75mil x 5 years), then something fishy is going on. The 5 year deal gives him a generational wealth contract now, and it gives him the potential for a big 7 or 8 year deal at age 28. This isnt rocket science. Every GM with a 25 1st and a 25 3rd should be giving Broberg a max offersheet.

He should be head out scouting and asst gm. We need a business management professional to GM. Raymond and Seider negotiations are simple. You can tangibly see exactly what u get every single game from these 2 guys. Get 3 or 4 comparables and average them out. Then offer on the low end and negotiate to slightly above the middle. This should have been handled MONTHS ago. The SCAM is a good player evaluator. He stinks at roster management so far. Hopefully, the 3rd asst GM helps him with that.
