NOT WATCHING. But honestly, saying Broberg isn't worth a 1st at this point is utter non sense. First of all, he was a 1st. An a high one at that. 2nd, he's fully developed now and blossoming further. 3rd, he just performed spectacularly in the highest competition games of the season. The rest of the NHL is foolish right now not to be putting the screws to Edmonton for the cost of a 1st and a 3rd. Whoever has that available with cap space available should be offer sheeting Broberg. "But what about the SCAM's rep?" Sick of hearing that. So what you're trying to say is that we have some good young prospects coming up? The only issue i have is that we have a lot off "GOOD" prospects. We need a few of the Datsyuk type prospects that could turn into difference makers. Having 20 "quality character" guys doesn't really matter. We need some "scores a shyte load of goals" guys, too.

I honestly would LOVE to see this guy play 4th line minutes. I think he could be an excellent forward. He just really looks lost as a defensemen. There's ZERO flow to his game. But every single time he activated last year, he looked extremely good carrying the puck along the boards and distributing with his head up. Not sure why the coaches can't see what I'm seeing. Chiarot with the puck on his stick in the offensive zone - pretty good. Chiarot without the puck on his stick in the defensive zone - Cycle Fest 2024 = Absolute TRASH. I completely disagree and think you're absolutely NOT WATCHING hockey. He was AWESOME in the last 2 rounds of the SCF, and those are the hardest minutes in hockey. He's worth a hell of a lot more than a 1st round pick. Especially a first round pick in the 15-25 range.

He fked himself right out of a playoff run last year with the Chiarot and Petry hard on. If the SCAM and dumb penis Lalonde can't figure it out this year that Chairot and Petry are defensive disasters, then he'll be on the end of a firing come May. I'll be calling for the SCAM's head a lot quicker than Lalonde because I believe the coach has to play the players the GM signs. But if Lalonde doesn't have the balls to stand up to the SCAM and say "Stop giving me this dead ***** wood", then he deserves to be on the first train out of the D, as well.

He played well enough to help Jeff Petry limp out the season. There is zero reason to compare Edvinsson to want to play like Seider or Seider to want to play like Edvinsson. Edvisson is a better skater with better reach and better offensive situational awareness. Seider is a tougher player with better defensive situational awareness and great shot blocking abilities. Both help us get the puck out of our zone and move it into ahead into the attacking zone in their own ways. If ASP turns out the way everybody thinks he should, we should have (3) guys that can play 1A/1B minutes and (5) more in Al. Johansson/Wallinder/Buium/Tuomisto/An. Johansson that can play mid and bottom pairing minutes for any team.
