You are so misguided on Simon Edvinsson, it's sad. Did you not watch the AHL playoffs where we won all our games with him in the line up and lost all the games without him? It's like Killer whale in a backyard swimming pool obvious how good Simon Edvinsson is. Replacing Walman with Edvinsson on the top pair is going to help Seider tremendously. The problem is going to be replacing Edvinsson on the 2nd pairing. Until ASP-Johansson is up an running, this 2nd pairing is going to struggle. Maatta-Holl will prove to be an awesome third pairing, but if Chiarot and Petry make up the 2nd pairing, they're going to get torched. It was blue whale in a backyard swimming pool obvious last year who was on the ice when the opponent was at their best. Next year, these 2 are just going to be older and slower. If the SCAM is going to stick to Chiarot and Petry in the lineup, this team isn't going anywhere. They're rally killers.

You guys are all being stupid. Sorry, but it's true. Edvinsson is our 2nd best defensemen RIGHT NOW. Not ceiling. Not in a few years. RIGHT NOW. If the SCAM sends him down, it's bye bye 24-25. Edvinsson could end up being our #1 defender this year. In case you haven't noticed, Seider isn't on some massive growth curve that gets him into Norris consideration. He's a 40-50 pt a year guy that plays good defense and that's it. Edvinsson is the guy that could turn into Victor Hedman. Not Seider.
