The SCAM should do the same.

Thats a good question. Florida has good D and a rock star goalie without a lot of star power up front. Barkov and Tkachuk are tasty, but Florida is winning with defense and muckers potting clutch goals. We may just be ok with Larkin/Raymond/Debrincat/Danielson as our big pay F group. A lot will depend on Cossa, Edvinsson, Johansson, and ASP developing into shut down guys and our forward group learning how to play playoff hockey quickly

Edm needs so much referee help, it's sad.

This take is terrible. Edvinsson is our 2nd best defenseman. Its that simple. Not up for debate. Maatta is a GOOD defenseman. He steadied Gost the last 1/2 of the season after Gost was told to play defense. Those 2 looked great as our 3rd pairing down the stretch. Very little opponent cycling with them on the ice. Holl was GOOD last year. The coach played Petry over him for an unexplainable reason. Petry and Chiarot are awful defensemen. AWFUL. If they are on the ice, the other team is cycling in our end. Those 2 guys single handedly cost us a playoff season last year. Trading away guys that aren't part of the problem is senseless. The SCAM needs to address the problem = Chiarot and Petry. Move them to 4th line F with Veleno between them. Problem solved The SCAM has too much pride tho. Chiarot was supposed to be good, so the SCAM has to ride out the contract he gave him. Stupid. Costing us success.

I am VERY optimistic about D and G. Im very pessimistic about F. I don't see any star talent anywhere. Just a lot of middle 6 level talent.
