The thing I most want to see right now, oddly enough, is Chiarot moved to FORWARD. He is pretty slick at hockey EXCEPT PLAYING DEFENSE! I have no idea why they haven't converted him to a power forward yet. He's such a a ***** on defense, but seems to transform into somebody that has a lot of talent when he plays offense. Just stop trying to make him something he's not, and maybe he won't suck so hard.

CThings I LOVE: Gost-Maatta. These guys gel. It's a smooth flow with them on the ice, and Gost has committed to being solid in his own end. We are never chasing the puck for more than 3 or 4 seconds when they are on the ice. Edvinsson. This guy is a game changer. He's making Jeff Petry look decent right now. He's going to need 100 games to shake out the goofs. He made a couple board passes tonight that were just instant turnovers. He needs experience to get rid of those types of things. Seider was a rare instance of a guy just getting it from the start and always making the right play. Eddog is gonna need one more year and then he'll be there too Seider. Guy is awesome. He's a shutdown defender and hockey IQ is off the chart. Reminds me of Pronger without the snarl. Czarnik. Unpopular opinion here, but this guy is great bang for buck. Hope he stays in our system. He plays with pace and motor never stops. Perfect 23rd roster spot guy. Kane. I can't believe I like this guy now. I hated him when he was a Blackhawk. Like wanted to spit on him hated him. Also, I'm not a fan of the "Ride the Hot Goaltender until he gets absolutely embarrassed" approach. What's wrong with alternating 2 goalies that can both play well as they alternate? Lyon was used like a SLAVE and it finally wore him down. That's a coaching problem. Why start doing that to Reimer right now? It's not good for either goalie's confidence.

I would normally agree with the "This guy won't be in the league long" schtick, but I think this guy is a different breed. People LIKE this guy. And by people, I mean EVERYBODY - even his opponents. I watched Reaves get interviewed, and you could tell what was in Reave's mind, even thought he didn't want to say it - the torch has been passed. This guy is it now. And Rempe isn't just some scrub that doesn't have any value outside of his fighting. He's a centerman that the Rags are seeing good things from when he just plays hockey. 30 hits in 10 games. I don't think we're going to have a hard time losing after this game, so I think the wings need to decide if they're going gigachad team and beating Nashville, Tampa, Florida, Washington, and Buffalo to claim their spot in the playoffs OR if they're going to put their tails between their legs, "stick to the system" and play sound positional hockey - aka let Ben Chiarot and Petry get cycled on and torched for 20 minutes a game, and lose 5 straight. Big gut check.
