Chiarot stinks. It's easy to see. 39% corsi for with high offensive zone start and vs 2nd line and down opposition = eyeball test confirmed. He stinks. Vrana is Yzerman's biggest bust. Chiarot's last 2 years wipl be Steve's 2nd biggest bust. Chiarot's first 2 years have been worth it, as he has filled a void. But we dont want him filling that void the next 2 years. Edvinsson, ASP, Johansson need to be rotating in with Seider, Walman, Holl, and Maatta next year. Trade Chiarot to Tampa with 1/2 salary retained for their 2nd and 4th round picks in the 2025 draft.

Holl is the better defender of the 3. Chiarot is the worst defender. Chiarot has the best shot of the 3, however. The big problem with Chiarot is his regarded contract. When Edvinsson comes up, it's going to be like living with your ex for 2 years because she cosigned the lease, but you have a newer, younger, and hotter gf that makes you 5 times as happy. What the hell was Yzerman thinking?

Seider and Raymond hit it faster, but that's just an unrealistic thing to expect in almost any prospect drafted outside the top 2 or 3. We got LUCKY with Seider and Raymond. I have a strong feeling ASP and Danielsson are going to be Red Wings quick as well.
