EXACTLY. I dont know why everybody always needs to make it about "compete level", "slow starts", "coaching intensity" etc. when the answer is so OBVIOUS - WE ARE PLAYING THE WRONG GUYS. GUYS - PLURAL. It's not like it's almost a coinflip, either. It's blatant shet decision making. Cossa + Edvinsson + ASP + Wallinder + Kasper + Danielson replacing Reimer + Maatta + Petry + Holl + Czarnik + Aston-Reece instantly makes this team younger, faster, more skilled, and harder to play against. We sent them elsewhere for reasons Yzerman knows better than we do. I can live with that. But I at least need LGW people to acknowledge that these draft picks ARE IN FACT BETTER than the garbage Yzerman is icing this season. We are losing because our talent level is lacking in the garbage. Not because the garbage is really talented but are "slow starters".

Chiarot = -2 Petry = -2 But how can we get by with Edvinsson in the line up? No way he's ready. This coach is so much less inspiring than Torts. Wish we had John behind our bench. He wouldn't put up with this amateur level of intensity.

Rasmussen needs to take that next step that Veleno has taken. Veleno is involved / engaged every shift now. Once we get that out of #27, we will be a tougher team. Ras just floats out there looking for something to happen. We need him to make things happen. He's been the biggest disappointment besides Yzerman signing 3 defensive pylons, imo.

One thing I wouldnt miss if I never saw it again is Mo Seider back passing to someone else when he's rushing up ice on the pp. Mo is adept with the puck and is probably our best at handling through the neutral zone. This back passing thing is like the underhand free throw now. It's old, it's tired, it's played, and it doesnt help at all. I feel like it just jams up the blue line and makes it more difficult. We need to just have Mo, Jake, or Walman retrieve the puck and have the 3 forwards come back for support staggered at the red line. Then skate it in or pass/dump it in with speed. Then the trailer can pinch after as a pass option. NO MORE BACK PASSING.
