If Im Yzerman, Im doing my best to have the best #3 dman in the league making #3 dman money.

I dont think he's going to get that much, tbh. With Seider and Leddy coming on board, Id expect Hronek to see less scoring minutes this season. I think Yzerman will offer 2 contracts - one that keeps him an RFA and has a higher per year in the range of 5.5-6 mil, and one that gives him max term in the range of 5-5.5 mil per. Hronek then will have a chance to poclet 35-40 mil on this contact and another 45-50 mil on his next. He's set to have a handsome career money wise due to developing well early. But he's slated to be our 2A guy in the next couple of years. I think giving him 1st pairing money for a longer term would be a mistake.

So far, 86 NHL games with 15 goals and 22 assists. By age 21. This guy is off to a great start. I have no idea why everyone is so down on Zadina. The absolute worst we are going to get is 3rd line NHLer for 15 years. But it's looking more like top 6 forward for that stretch. What gives with the Zadina hate?

I voted Jorgenson. But I know that cops, like all professions, are plagued by a certain group of bad apples. And what's funny is that you guys think that is an absurd concept. In my office of 12 people, we have a stinker or 2. Police units are composed of 100's of people. Of course there are going to be substandard employees in sample sizes like that. But as Bark pointed out, the ill effects of bad police officers are not limited to those of color. Bad cops discharge their weapons unnecessarily on all shapes, sizes, and colors of people. That's because they are bad cops. Not because cops are bad. The media only reports white on black incidents, however. This is done with the intent of keeping our people in disharmony.
