    Yah, I know where you stand Wisconsin Boy.  It's all the coach's fault.  Has nothing to do with the fact that we played 2 defensemen who can't play defense all season.  Go discuss line combos with Blue Adams!

    Why put MORE ROADBLOCKS in front of our first round picks?  That's the problem with this team.  We seem to like quantity over quality.  Go out and sign 2 more journeymen defensemen to take the 2nd pairing minutes instead of giving them to ASP and Edvinsson.  That's not smart.  Kasper, Danielson, ASP, and Cossa need to be up with the team next year.  Not 4 years from now.

    You realize we just MISSED the playoffs, right?  Why would we pump breaks on guys that could help us replace players that caused our demise?  Pump the breaks on a first round pick so TRASH Jeff Petry can play 82 games next year and cripple the team AGAIN?  Why would we do that?  Is there some secret Grand Rapids AHL cup mission Im unaware of?

    Mazur, Lombardi, and ASP all need to gain strength. Most of the other top end prospects already have bigger frames than Lucas did. 

    Raymond's biggest strength this year was his durability.  He got put on his ass non stop and came back every single time.  That's the weight lifting.  Gave him the ability to play hard at speed and take punishment.

    They should have OT start 5 on 5, have a horn go off at 50 seconds, 1:50, 2:50, and 3:50.  Each team has 10 seconds to take 1 man off the ice every minute until it's 1 on 1 for the last minute.  At 5 minutes, its a tie.  No 3 pt games.

    Don't want scenarios like this to decide your fate? Maybe don't give up 8 goals to teams like the coyotes in 2 games in March. 

    Glad we are (hopefully) learning that lesson now. 

    NBA has play in games for 7 and 8 seeds.  NHL needs to adopt this too.

    Yah, it was 15 or so games ago for 1 game.  And he was good in it.  He finished a plus 7 and highest corsi for our of out defense with 50/50 zone start time.  Wtf do people want out of a 3rd pairing 3 million dollar guy?  I hate how our fans completely step over and ignore the gushing wound in TRASH CHIAROT AND TRASH PETRY, and say stupid things like we need to get rid of a guy that the coach benched the whole year for good play.

    Newsy only deploys Ghost on the PP and in the Ozone. The kid should have been a forward, because he's not even trusted with neutral zone defensive duties. 

    Paying a 3rd pair PP man 5 million dollars is not something we can afford to do anymore next year, let alone the next 4. 

    Yah, Gost has to come at 3 mil or less a season, or he needs to go.  After he was given his talk and paired with Maata, he gave us a great last 30 games.  I think youre being a bit hard on him, tbh.  First 50 games Goat definitely sucked defensively.  But he put together a very responsible end to the season.  All of the 4 or 5 bad ones Maatta and Gost gave up were from bad pinches.  They rarely got cycled long and hard on like TRASH CHIAROT AND TRASH PETRY.

    Newsflash - Holl was GOOD this year.  Had we played him with Edvinsson instead of CHIAROT TRASH AND PETRY TRASH, we'd be playoff bound

    Edvinsson and Seider are absolute GEMS.  If we get Johansson, Tuomisto, ASP, and Wallinder up to a reliable level, we will be OUTSTANDING on the backend.  Im absolutely excited about Detroit from the blueline in.  Forward group is still a bit sus.

    Poor Dylan Larkin. Literally did everything he needed to do to make the playoffs and the team lost it for him when he was out.

    He crippled this team.  I'm torn on Lalonde though.  If he recommended Petry, he also crippled the team.  Paying (2) defensemen that don't play defense 7 million a season is out of this world BONKERS.  Holl, by every statistic and every eyeball test, was the better player over Petry this year.  Edvinsson was brought up WAY TOO LATE.  Berggren didn't get any serious stretches of play.  And the result - We piss ourselves out of the playoffs AND the upcoming draft.  Going to wait until the draft is over to get the YzerSCAM on the whipping table, but things aren't looking good right now.  Serious sus moves/non-moves for 23-24.  I'd say he cost this team a playoff run, which is the EXACT OPPOSITE of what he's supposed to do.
