Besides the D, Kasper looked great and Sodapop isn't going anywhere too soon. Great game!

You're right although Kane has a NTC which means nothing really I guess. I was talking more about assets that we didn't have to attach picks to get rid of them. I mean if someone wanted to take Tank or one of our regards I'm all for it. -

Wow. Carolina keeps making We Want The Cup moves every year it seems. Chicago seemed like losers in the deal, only getting a 3rd for retaining half of Rantenen's salary and moving Hall. -

No Wings on the list. Is this because SY didn't make any moves at last years TDL? Or is it because we don't have any tradable assets? -
I think Elmer is up covering Motte while Fischer is in for Veleno?
-
Yeah! Sodapop called up from GR today.
-
I for one refuse to pick either Ammo or Finnie. Shame on you for even asking the impossible! I'll take Buium over Wallinder for your next poll.

Indubitably

NHLTrade rumours - grain of salt Detroit Red Wings receive: J.T. Miller and Nils Höglander Vancouver Canucks receive: William Wallinder, J.T. Compher, and Nate Danielson
-
For sure. Watching Carolina handle the Loafs last night was a prime example for you. They made in tight stickhandling a moot point because of their forwards ability to play a physical game controlling the boards. They scrum quite well while protecting the puck, then find their sniper who has found space for the inevitable pass from the boards. Happened all night with these good scoring chances.
-
I think that's pretty fair. Buffalo may want Biuim or Tumo thrown in as well.
-
Yet when Pavel stickhandled....
-
I just can't see Buffalo taking Compher's salary without sending a protected 1st and Ras minimum.
-
Who is the better mentor for Cossa and does he really need one? Who gets you more in a trade?
-
Hey thanks. I'm glad one of us, meaning you, found this and posted it. I was pretty peedoff watching this as it happened.
-
I'm a gard, so I don't have the video. Looked to me that Ed got nailed with a pretty good elbow to his face. Guessing his jaw is either broken or pretty sore at this point. I figure he'll be wearing an 'I'm a brave boy now' cage when he comes back. This looked so blatant I thought of Benn nailing Larkin in the back a few years ago.

SY didn't have much choice really. Team outperformed their reality and it cost us. SY at the TDL was like the Wings losing another draft lottery. He needed to unload contracts for picks and couldn't do that because ownership/fanbase wanted to make the playoffs and almost did. Pick a path? SY and team great at making the most of high picks. SY bad at FA that he can't unload at TDL. I think you are bang on with Talbot showing Cossa the ropes next year even though he might be the biggest trade chip this year. Another dilemma.
-
Good win vs the Loafs saturday night. Did Kane suddenly turn the light on? He sure looked like he was auditioning on HNIC and pumping up his trade value.
-
I do. He looked shaky to start as expected and showed some skill the rest of the way. Giving up 2 goals is fine in 45 minutes in your first game, but the part I like is his attitude. He said something like; 'I love this being on me' before the start of OT.
-
I thought Motte looked pretty crappy vs Buffalo. Kane is still invisible, and the list goes on. I can't wait for the TDL hoping we are well out of contention so we can toss out the trash unlike last year when a selloff was the right move but pr-wise not a good move considering how close we were. I'd prefer we suddenly get our crap together, make the playoffs and make watching a game actually fun. Who will be ready to come up from GR?
-
Good for Cossa. Glad he finally got some action and he looked okay. He seemed pretty nervous at first and settled in just just fine, although he got pretty lucky in the shootout with his best friend mr. post. Was it just me or did Mo look like he was having fun scoring and killing people? FreeMo

GDT : Season 98 Episode 26 ; Impeached in Parliament

Lions: made a giant stride with the bounty they got from trading Stafford. Wings: fell off the cliff drafting Z instead of Quinn Hughes. And yes, the coaching is also a huge difference. -
