Here's the goalie tiers followed by the Defense. Offence should be out in a couple of days. Hutch is going to cost 50M? per on his next deal? If that's the rate, you have to pay it. The kid seems to be exactly what you want a leader and teammate to be.

It's a big risk for GBay even though they didn't give up much at all. Those 1sts will be like early 2nds.

Wow that is a high risk high reward trade the Pack made. Easy to see G Bay and the Lions should probably be fighting it out for the #1 playoff seed with Philly now.

I like the Lions (Saints fan) a bunch, but, you guys need an RDE. Marcus Davenport is never healthy enough to count on. Was Brad sleeping on draft days?

I would have to put Kasper with Ed as most likely to put a stamp on their elite status this coming season. Hopefully a couple of kids in the cupboards pan out like those two sooner than later. -

Not sure I buy Buffalo being 2 tiers better than us. I wonder who here would trade Mo, Ed and AlJo for Power, Dahlin and Byram. I would love Dahlin, but I think Power and Byram have maxed out and for us Ed's second season could be great. We just need another top 4 defenceman. -
Probably sign with Anaheim or Edmonton. I'll let myself out.

You're probably right. It just seems like they are drafting that certain type of forward with brains, compete and 200' game and seem to be developing them sort of well. Maybe it's the development or tutoring of the Dmen that's the problem? Or it could just be underwhelming draft scouting.

I really like the two-way pro-style of Bear and Danielson and hope they grow as Kasper has. Add in Mazur, MBN and hopefully a completely dedicated Sodapop and we're looking good for grit with talent. If we can hit on the offensive upside of Buch, Plante, Kiiskinen or Lombardi.... even better.

I'm glad we either got turned down for Dobson or we turned the Isles down. If I had to guess, the NYI ask would have been #13, Kasper and Wallinder or something close to that. No thanks
