Believe me. I would love to see Chicago bring in Holland for their rebuild, so they can draft Zadinas, Manthas, Rasmussens, Sheahans, Kindls, Cholowskis, and McCollums to play with Bedard.

That would be a bad fit. Both Detroit and Edmonton were much better teams when he took over GM duties. Detroit was already a contender, and EDM was already headed upward with elite talent on the roster. Chicago is still a bottom feeder and needs a serious rebuild. That's not what Holland does.

You cant just assume that Lindholm and Seider would make a good pair. There is a reason Walman was Mo's partner over other higher paid dmen. Chelios and Lidstrom were 2 of the best dmen to ever play the game, and opposite handedness, and yet they rarely ever played together because they didn't gel as a pair.

He was the only D that SY could dump that wasnt overpaid. Probably couldn't get rid of Petry, Chiarot, or Holl, and Maatta was already cheap and did not save much salary.
