I never stated it as fact. I said it was a rumor. Rumors cannot be proven, otherwise they would be fact. You aren't questioning the validity of the rumor, you are accusing people of deliberately making things up, there is a difference. There is a difference between telling someone they're wrong, and calling them a liar. The former is the point of discourse, the latter is just being a dick.

Nope. Saying that a good showing at TC does not guarantee a career in the NHL. And that injury after TC may have played a part in his lack of development. Like I said, pro scouts have more misses than hits. And they pick their players based on how well they show. I dont see how that makes someone an idiot.

He posted something from Craig Button. The rumor I heard was either from Wingin It in Motown or WWP or The Word on Woodward or one of those Wings Podcasts. I dont remember which one it was. And I am not wasting my time searching for it. Your validation means so little.

He was noticeable at TC, was heavily involved offensively, and scored several points in practice games as well IIRC. I thought he was a promising based on that. The difference is, I am posting about a rumor that I really did hear, as did several others. So either several people are just coincidentally making up the same random rumor out of thin air, or it really did exist. No one is lying. You are just deliberately making up a rumor and claiming its the same thing when it clearly is not.

I saw him at TC. And he legitimately looked good. Most of the guys at camp that aren't the high end picks are invisible. Toots stood out.

If you were really a Christian, then you would know that JC told his followers that they would be mocked, ridiculed, and attacked. Doing so only strengthens their belief system. If you really want to confuse a Christian, tell them they're great.

Aliu seems to be a disgruntled hockey player who truly believes that he isn't playing in the NHL because of racism. And the program he is running seems to be less about DEI in hockey, and more about validation/confirmation of his belief. It isn't surprising tho since social activism these days is more about validation of one's own truth, instead of acceptance of actual truth.

If it could be proven to be fact, it wouldn't be a rumor. And I didn't "make it up". It was a rumor.
