He was underrated, IMO. He can score in tight and is another RH, which the team needs more of. Saw him up close at LCA in the win over Boston. Didn't think he looked out of place. He isn't overly talented, but would be a decent depth F. Could become the F version of Lashoff.

What a player is listed as, and what position they play on the roster are 2 different things. Z was listed as a C despite spending significant time on Datstuks wing. Fedorov was always listed as a C despite playing wing when with the Russian 5 or D when Bowman saw fit. Even Franzen was listed as a center when he broke into the NHL. So was Hudler and I believe Nyquist too. It would not surprise me to see Kasper listed as a C on the roster while playing on Copp's wing to start the season.
