Larkin is damn good - in fact I'd say he's our best overall 2-way player, but not our most offensively gifted player. I honestly doubt he'll have 1200 plus pts when he retires...He's already 28 yrs old, has 506 pts in 652 games...Do you honestly believe he'll have another 700 plus pts by the time his current contract expires after the 2030/2031 season (if he even makes it that far and if injuries don't cut his career short)? I'd love to be wrong, but it isn't gonna happen.

Keep in mind this was weeks before Walman was traded to SJ...

The only player/s I see Calgary wanting to move would be Huberdeau and/or Weegar.

Calgary looking for a re-tool/re-build might want more than our scraps/long shots and worn out vets. Berggren would likely be part of a package, but I'm thinking Yzerman has to add another prospect (Kasper possibly), or draft pick/s.

Raymond isn’t anywhere near Larkin’s level of performance nor should he be paid as such.

Nylander's had a handful more of productive seasons...Nobody should make more than Larkin's aav for the next few seasons IMHO considering he's our best player and 'C' (if either of those mean anything to the kids these days)...
