Oilers are gonna become Tronna Part Deux...All that $$$ tied up in a handful of guys...At least they made it to game 7.

Was a NHL Center Ice subscriber up until a few seasons ago (was a glorious day back in August '99 when digital cable and Center Ice was made available in the greater Milwaukee area). I cut the cord a few seasons ago (at that time I had DirecTV satellite) and began streaming with YouTube TV thus having to purchase the ESPN+ package. Since I'm a 'boomer' (early 50s) I prefer watching games on TV instead of my laptop/phone (although I will watch on my iphone at work if I have a chance) so I don't bother with any illegal streaming that many partake in ($100 plus fees/taxes for the annual subscription to ESPN+ won't make a dent in my wallet). Here in WI the Minnesota Wild are 'blackout' so unless the Wings are playing Minny, or are on the NHL Network (which isn't offered by YouTube TV) - I can watch every game (YouTube TV is like basic cable - includes ESPN/TNT/TBS and local networks HOWEVER IT DOES NOT INCLUDE BALLY SPORTS). I preferred NHL Center Ice with it's user interface, the feeds (they run the local ads and not annoying ESPN infomercial crap), and overall set-up, but ESPN+ does do the trick - it's just not as 'good' as Center Ice. Only advantage with streaming is that I won't have any weather related issues that I occasionally had with the satellite dish.

Our only hope is his testicles descended and he plays with some fire...If not - yeah he'll be useless like Joey V.

If guys struggle to score in GR - they immediately need to start watching old footage of Maltby/Cleary otherwise they'll wind up like Zadina...
-
Continue to ponder what was Holland & Co thinking when taking the 1-trick pony in Zadina over Hughes who was 40 miles down the road at AA?

Augustine is gonna kick Cossa to the curb ala Spartans style...

I'll $hit my pants if either makes more $$$ aav than Larkin (especially Raymond) with this upcoming contract...That said I could see both making more after a 3 year bridge and signing long term for a higher aav. Either way both will be in camp in a few weeks.

You 2 need to get a room.

We shall anoint Scott as the new KRS with his bad takes and doubting the abilities of Chaddy Chiarot.

Nothing will happen...Lalonde will finish the season and if anything he won't be offered a new contract like Blashill.

Yeah - I have a feeling Seider will sign a bridge for 2 reasons: 1) CBA expires in 2 years after the 2025/2026 season: BoG in the past has been rumored in wanting to lower contract length ie from 8yrs/7yrs to what could be as low as 6yrs/5yrs...Of course the NHLPA would want UFA at 25, or 26 which would benefit bridge deals for both Seider and Raymond. 2) Yzerman will want neither Seider nor Raymond to make more than Larkin at this time...However a few years from now, cap likely to increase, new CBA, an experienced/mature Seider and Raymond will likely be able to command more than Larkins aav (in particular Seider). EDIT 3 REASONS... Seider's agent

I honestly wouldn’t mind him at a discounted price seeing that we could use some violence from our blue line and with Rempe on the NYR they have that covered.
-
He’s just asking to get waived and/or bought out. HF Boards NYR fans have been disappointed with him in both his apparent decline in play and rejecting any trade.
-
The last thing Yzerman wants to do is hand out blank checks to young guys like Dubas had done with the Tronna Pretty Boys. IMHO neither Seider/Raymond will make more than DBoss for the next 2 to 4 seasons aav and it's highly unlikely they'd get more even if they both signed a 7, or 8 yr deal before the start of this season. I'm thinking they'll each get a bridge deal worth anywhere from $5.5 to $7.5 aav and then when that expires they'll have the opportunity to demand equal to, or more than Larkin. Also - keeping in mind the current CBA is in it's final 2 yrs - after the 2025/2026 season there could be significant changes.

Lyon...Guy's making league minimum (or damn near it) and kept this team within range of the playoffs...Def the Red Wings unsung hero.
-
At least Sprong can score goals/generate some offense where as Sleepy Joe…Don’t get me wrong - not a big fan of either guy…Joe will likely end up in a similar spot as his draft partner.

Can I haz wut yur smokin? Veleno is a 4th liner…Nothing stands out with what he does on ice…Not overly skilled nor is he physical…TBH I’d rather have seen that $$$ spent on Sprong.
