Wheeler does his rankings of top 100 prospects: Tier 1 & 2 = the top 15 prospects = Wings have 0 Tier 3 = Wings have 1 player = ASP Tier 4 = Wings have 3 players = MBN + Danielson + Bear Tier 5 = Wings have 0 Dont think he factors in goalies

Further, there is smoke around Seattle about Jared McCann. He has quietly been the best player within the franchise since the teams inception, and he's a fan favorite. However, a deal apparently almost went down between the Krackers and Blues that wouldve sent Kyrou to Seattle for McCann. Also - Kraken reportedly got a lot of calls on Oleksiak at the TDL, but opted not to sell on him (yet). I think Seattle will wait to do anything until after Xmas, but I honestly don't see them improving much next year, so I think moves will likely come.

To add some fuel to the fire: The Avs cleared up a buncha cap space this offseason, but then only spent a portion of it... imagine if they moved Necas to Pitt for Crosby and Malkin? That trade could make a lot of sense for both teams. And then Crysby and Mackinnon can jerk each others lil cole harbors off together, AND Sid gets to keep his sweet lil Evgeni side piece.

Pierre Mcguire said on air recently that "Earth Shattering" trades will be happening this season. And yes I know, it's Pierre, the same man who likely thinks the lentil soup at panera is also "Earth Shattering". However, he is an actual insider, and I think he could be onto something (maybe)... especially after a weak draft and UFA class, the pendulum may swing the other way once the 2025/26 season settles in. With teams getting aggressive and spicy post USA thanks giving. >Mcdavids contract is up at seasons end. And Edmonton has broken this man. Not a single legit goalie in Edms net for his entire career there, and heartbraking loses to Florida. The longer he goes without an extension the bigger the rumblings are gonna get. And It would be so fitting to see him traded away just like Grets... Tronna is in WE NEEDED A MCD YESTERDAY mode right now. And you know theyd love to pull in the hometown phenom to save face after losing Marner. >the rumors about Pitt wanting to possibly move on from Crosby and Malkin... it wouldve broken my lil grinch heart to see Zberg or Datysuk go elsewhere. But look at us now... if Pitt is smart they probably dont want a 300 year rebuild like us. >Kyle Connor. Winnipeg will try to go for cups again this year, but with his contract ending and their inability to attract or retain talent, I could see them panic flipping him for something else. >Panarin. Getting old now. Contract up. And Drury has shidtted up that team already. Might be a good time for them to reset and see what they can get for him. Im sure theres others, these just swemed like the low hanging fruit to me.

Yeah Ive literally had someone wing a ball into the inside of the cab of my cart b4, while I was sitting in it. Didnt hit me (somehow) but bounced around the inside of the cart banging everything pretty good. My reaction was "didnt hit me bud, dont worry about" Sure there are times where I wanna break / throw my clubs. But always cause im frustrated with myself. Picking fights with others is just so dumb. Shidt happens move on. Its a sport thats literally built around spending 4+ hours outside enjoying the sunshine... Weed coma will make u pretty chill I guess -
Two nasty punctures. But kid took it like a champ. Wanted to go right back to playing imeadately.

Holy fuqqing shidt lmao -
Also - in a dog fight - especially with a pit - always go for the throat/neck. You have to cut off their air supply. That's the only way they'll release. Choke the shidt out of them. Literally. I see lots of rumors online about hitting them in the balls or sticking something in their azz. Thats all fake. Pits are bred to take tremendous abuse. Unless you stop their brain from getting oxygen they will NEVER let go. Ive seen 1000s of videos at this point. Ppl hitting them. Pepper spraying them. It makes no difference. Choke = brain turn off = dog releases. Or shoot them with a gun.

Info you didnt need to know, but that you ought to know: PITBULL TERRIERS ARE A DANGEROUS BREED If you own one, be responsible, and for the love of god plz do not breed it with another pit. The world does not need more fighting dogs. My Boston was atracked for the 3rd time in his life earlier this week by a Pit (it's always a pit) and i literally had to rear naked choke this dog in order to get him to let go. I understand some "pibble-wibble" "velvet hippos" are heckin good boyerinos, sure... ive met plenty of nice ones. But each one is a loaded gun. Recognize what you have. They were bred to be incredibly muscular, and to never release once they attack. You can have a pit - be responsible - and never have a problem... much like owning a gun. But if youre not responsible the potential for destruction a pit can cause is terrifying. My boston gets loose, worst case scenario is he tries to hump ur dog or ur kids teddy bear. A loose pit on the other hand can kill a grown man, and its happened more than ppl realize. Now I have to file a lawsuit against a guy bc he couldnt control his dog, whom put multiple puncture wounds in the back of mines neck. I FUQQIN HATE PITS. And i leave the area as soon as I can when one is around based on experience. Ppl say "adopt adopt adopt" which seems like the right thing to do, but adoption centers are flooded with pits and pit mixes (i wonder why). Best thing we can do is let the breed die off. Dont adopt them. Pony up and get a golden retreiver, ur non mauled children will thank u.

Really nice course. Washington state. Starter and Marshall tell us, if you want food just call it in to club house on the 8th tee box, and then pick it up on the turn. "Thats what everyone does" No problemo, do exactly that. Get to 9th tee box with food in hand, and group behind us approaching. "Just play through bros, we got foods to munch on and dont wanna hold you up" Group behind thanks us and plays through. We start to tee up. Old guy from group behind the group we just let play through STORMS UP. "WHATRE YOU DOING?" "teeing up" "YOURE NOT THE GROUP THAT WAS IN FRONT OF US" "no, but we are now, we just let them play though" "WHY???" "bc we picked up food on the turn" "YOU CANT DO THAT" "We just did that, in fact the starter and marshall said we could do that. If it's a problem, we apologize, no reason to be upset, just go ahead and play through as well" "THATS NOT THE POINT. YOU SCREWED UP THE ORDER ON THE COURSE. IS THIS YOUR FIRST TIME ON A GOLF COURSE OR WHAT???" >its at this point that old timer had pushed his luck. We were being incredibly calm with him and being VERY generous offering to let him play through. Also "order on a course" is not a thing. There is zero reason he needed to play behind THAT group. "YES. ITS OUR FIRST TIME EVER PLAYING... ARE YOU GRAY???" Confused boomer: "what?" "DO YOU SUCK DICH???" Boomy: "fuq no" "DO YOU WANNA SUCK MY DICH???" "... what?" "IF NOT THEN STFU. TEE UP YOUR BALL. AND WE BETTER SEE A DAMN GOOD SWING YOU OLD FUQQING QUEEN" >i said very little as the coward keyboard warrior that I am. Credit to my buddy, who lit this man up, and didnt stop after this... old timer went silent mode, and the 3 others he was playing with actually apologized to us. Which we graciously accepted. But we made them play through, and aggresively nipped at their heels for the next 9 holes. Biggest lesson I learned that day was DO NOT PICK FIGHTS WITH PPL AND THEN LET THEM PLAY BEHIND YOU. My buddy proceeded to try to drive into that guy every hole after that, and even looked for him in the parking lot after the match. It's so eazy to not be a jackass to ppl. Idk why ppl do it, but golf seems to invite some of the worst of it. -

Hahaha thanks White shirt bro is obvi more tanked than i realized in the first video. What a useless pair. *chefs kiss #2* -
Fair point about Danny, and I'll reserve some judgement on him. Buium just hasnt impressed me, not in the slightest. Wallinder either. Which is concerning. Cause after those two more "highly touted" D prospects our D prospects thin out quick. Unless you like Anton. I like Anton a lot. And I think he's going to subplant Wallinder and Buium as soon as he commits to state side.

Rewatching the video again, it's just such beautiful kino. So many good lines. Tarantino couldn't script it better. >tarnasky warning drunktard thats hes not tough >drunktards buddy insisting muliple times that his friend is in fact "tough" >tarnasky warning drunktard that he will put him in the lake >drunktard sperging out >tarnasky's friends laughing knowing whats about to happen >tarn throwing drunky in the lake (as promised) >"good start buddy" >drunky refreshed by his swim comes back for more >BANG BANG BANG >Drunkys poos boy friend doing nothing to actually help him while he gets ragdolled. Beautiful cinema. *chefs kiss* I'm a big golfer. Advice to any potential golfers: no one gives a fuq how bad you are, as long as you dont play slow. These guys played slow. Play slow and u get the ol BANG BANG lol -

Actually I changed my mind - Tarnasky should be made to sit in a 5x5ft box with only a water bottle for exactly 5 min - after which he should be allowed to reenter the golf course and continue "banging" -

Tarnasky is apparently under invesitgation for this, and I swear to god leaf bros u better let him go free... Yelling BANG everytime u hit a guy is the most hillarious and hockey-esque thing to ever exist. Tarnnasty warned that regard and has brought honor and dignity to Canada -
I've been dissapointed by Buium and Danielson personally. Danielson tops out at 3C IMO. Not a bad thing, but a little dissapointing considering the pick level spent on him. Danny I think is for sure at least a future NHL player, but i dont feel the same way about Buium. I think Buium will get his shot, but I'm not overly optimistic about it. I like Kiiskinen and Anton because theyre grinders. Buium and Danielson probably actually have more natural talent, but drive beats talent everyday of the week. Ill put my money on those two anyday.
-
Hot take: id say our #1 forward prospect is Jesse Kiiskinen And our #1 D prospect (outside of ASP) is Anton Johansson Fight me

I assume once Talbot is gone the Griffs net will likely belong to Trey and Rudy. With a mix in of gylander and postova. But i dont really see gylander or postova ever becoming NHLers. Fun fact though, I read Postova was down to either Detroit or Edmonton, and so he called his friend Luke Dostal of the Ducks and Dostal straight up told him go with Detroit.
-
It's possible I guess. Cossa has been in the system for 4 years now. Looks good, but not amazing. Was meh in his first callup this year, and then lost the starting role for the Griffs in the playoffs to Jack Campbell. I assume the G position plays out like this: Gibson/Talbot this year, with Cossa as the 3rd-string callup. Going into the 2026/27 season, Talbot will be released and the new tandem will be Gibson/Cossa. That next summer is also likely when Augustine will sign his ELC and join the Griffins. Once the 2026/27 season ends its a bit more murky. It will depend on the play of Cossa and Gibson during that season. If Cossa doesnt take the #1 spot for himself, I can see Gibson being re-signed, and then we can either choose to trade Cossa, or continue to cook him. He'll be 24ish at that point. If Augustine or Guimond are lighting up the AHL at the same time he would be much easier to trade.
-
Nvm - 5 sec of google searching turned up an article from Bob Duff on the subject. Guimond couldnt afford the tuition to Yale, so backed out. Guimond also says he like the reps he got in the Q, and wants to go back their for the best of his own development.
-
Late posting this, butttttt Goalie GOAT Guimond decommitted from Yale. Probably after he read my post about them sucking lol. Therefore, it's implied he's returning to the QMJHL. However, I think it may be more likely that - with his emergence as a prominent young goalie - he recinded on Yale in order to pursue offers from a better program. And a program that will pay him. Ivy league schools make it a point not to pay athletes. Would be interesting if he gets into a big10 program and competes with guys like Augustine.

With Michigan State losing out on Gavin McKenna to PSU, and losing Hobey Baker winner Isaac Howard to the Oilers in the same week, it's rumored their trying to pull in likely #2 overall pick next year in Porter Martone, among other possible CHL defectors. Are their any UofM fans here? I dont understand why Naruto and that program have been so quiet. They have baller azz athletics money to use, but don't seem to be making any attempt to flex it. Further, it looks apparent to me that the the CHL is going to shift from a 16-21 year old league, to a 16-18 year old league. They are capped at only paying players $7,200 a year. If programs like MSU/PSU are willing to dish out hundreds of thousands on a single guy, then they can easily outbid and lure in any rando CHLer they want. Add a possible free degree to that for life after hockey and its a no brainer. If you're still in the CHL at 19 you're basically gonna be a loser that no NCAA program wanted. So CHL isnt kill completely. But BCHL, USHL, etc should be fuqqin worried.

I don't think it's a partner problem. When Chiarot first joined the team they had awful chemistry as a pair. With Big Ben always trying to take the lead and be THE GUY. But this last year or two that really changed and they played much better together. If anything, I think it has more to do with the overall lack of talent in our entire D lineup. Because of that fact, coaches know they need Seider on the ice as much as humanly possible. Therefore they want him playing efficiently and conservatively. It just sucks, because that's not his strength. Sure, he's proved he can do it, eat 25 min a night and be a steady force... but the kid we fell in love with wasn't steady. He was creative, dynamic, explosive, and could be an absolute cannonball on the ice. THAT's what made him special. That's what set him apart. Now my fear is the Red Wings have sapped that natural instinct from him... That one day they're going to say "Okay, Ed and ASP can now handle big minutes, Mo, feel free to go out and be your old bully self" and it will be too late, and that style game will have been coached out of him. One of the reasons I love Copp, JTC, and I like the Appleton signing is because their presence keeps Larkin off the PK. Larkin does NOT belong on a PK unit. It's a missuse of personel. Keep that kid in the Ozone as much as you fuqqing can. Similarly, it's a missuse/disservice to Seider to ask him to play this style game. We desperately need another big minute RHD, so that we can drop Seider's minutes from 25 min a night, to something like 22-23 min a night, in which he can play more free/loose/explosive. Honestly - keeping Hronek around may have alllowed that to happen, and a more natural progression to Seiders development may have ensued. But he's been forced to be something he's not here, and it pains me to watch. ASP cant come quick enough.
