Just sit back and watch Holland, he'll "go on." Well, who is Bergggggggggggggggren? Holland always f***s up and lets Haken pick in the 2nd round. The 2 d round is not for experiments. All he had to do is pick Noel and Wilde and he would've had a great draft. Can't wait to see the 3rd rounders Puken Luben.

There was just so much to choose from. Some teams drafted for need, even in the top 10. We had 6 great players to choose from at #6 and, we need(ed) everything, so we chose, in their minds, BPA. 2 of Noel, Wilde, Samuelsson this morning and it'll be a great draft, on paper, no matter who we find 3-7.

TSN's latest mock has us taking Hughes. With Dobson and Bouchard still on the board, that would be wrong, IMO. Then at 30, they have us taking someone named Liam Foudy. Don't know iota about him. -

AA, Svech, #30, #36, Franzen (contract to bring them closer to new cap floor) for Hanafin! Do it! Ok, I am at work for 16 hours, I am getting giddy! I do like the idea of AA and #30 to EDM for the #10 though...but I am sure it'd cost a bit more than that. Whoever mentioned AA on McDavid's wing is on the mark! SPEED! -
That gives us roughly $26M with Franzen LTIR. We can lock our RFA's up long term and still make a splash in UFA if we want to. (or Ottawa can sign Karlsson to 8 yrs. $88M and trade him to us and we'd STILL have money to spend!)
