Someone said with the Motte signing the Wings have 2/3 of a line from U of M that was called The CCM line. With Kyle Conner being the 3rd. Was it Copp or Compher?

Here's the thing, it's now a M-NTC, there's only 15 teams he won't go to. That means there's 16 that they can dump him to without him having a say in it. Or they can just waive him and he might end up 3000 miles away in San Jose!

Something has to happen. IMO, D didn't get any better, G is the same unless Campbell all of a sudden turns back into the All Star he was. F is very thin. Even with the 3 RFA's, that's only 11 signed. Unless we're going with more kids, something has to happen.

If Trouba allows the trade, we look better on D. AFP projects Tarasenko at $4.15M. Roslovic at $3.1M. FWIW they project Sprong at $4.1M as well. I'd much rather have Tarasenko. Depending on what NYR retain on Trouba, and what goes back (if trade happens) Detroit may be able to afford Tarasenko (if he's interested) and still have enough money left over for the RFA's and kids.

Signing Gustafsson could help in convincing Trouba to accept a trade to Detroit. Teammates on New York.

But everything hinges on Trouba blocking or accepting the move. If he accepts, then we have way too many D! Holl and another, maybe even another must go!

I know Skinner will probably go somewhere where he's guaranteed to make the playoffs since he's never been, but @ $3.5M projected, would you like to see him in Detroit?

Pretty sad how Carter Hart and his friends ruined their nhl careers. Still hoping for a Tarasenko Red Wing signing. Gotta ditch Holl and Husso at least.

I think signing Gustavsson pretty much killed that trade. When Seider signs, we'll have 7 defensemen before add Edvinsson and Johansson. IMO 2 more need to go. Holl and either Maatta or Petry.

With signing both Talbot and Campbell I hope Husso is out the door. Even if it's a buyout.

Henrique is still available too. It'd be nice to add to our forward group. Kane and Fischer are back. But we lost Perron and Sprong won't be back. Tarasenko would be a nice add, but might be pricey.

Nah, not for a long time and nowhere near what used to go on. You can't say that most of us aren't underwhelmed. Hoping for trades now. We've added Jack Campbell. Still available: Brannstrom, Boqvist, Tarasenko and Roslovic.
