Here's some perspective, seeing Vasilevskiy in goal, look at our 1st round picks the last 4-5 years, now just remind yourself that Holland traded a 1st for KFQuincey. Yikes!

Yes, I know, I also noted that in a post right after I posted the thread. I've asked the mods to change it if they can.

Hey Blashill, let's keep the same six players on the ice for the entire 2:18! Oh, except for the last 18 seconds. That is why Blashill should be fired tonight!

Of course I misspell a word in the title! If you get a chance MOD's, please correct my spelling of "Amateur" and "Official." Thanks! Anyhow, also of note one in the honorable mentions is Jacob Semik, from Canton, MI and he also plays for Michigan. If we fail to get a the top pick, and have to settle for a 5-10, a couple of guys I'd like to see grab one of: The aforementioned Quinn Hughes, Ryan Merkely, Ty Smith on the D side at FWD: Filip Zadina, Ryan McLeod. If, IF we are lucky enough to get the #1 and get Dahlin, the #26 will be hanging in the rafters in about 22 years! The stuff I read and see of this kid is amazing! If, we tank and still don't get the #1, I firmly believe that we should trade up to get it and him!

Mrazek "Maturing, could bounce back like Howard"

Having Howard and Coreau would probably help us in our pursuit of Dahlin/Svech. (although I believe we need Dahlin more!) Imagine this in two years: Theodore - Dahlin Cholowski - Hicketts Daley - DD Jensen/XO (if re-signed) We still have Hronek, Sarajaarvi and Sulak in the minors (Europe) that can come in when DD and Daley contracts end. I'd gladly give Mrazek away and allow him to mature in Vegas! Especialy for Theodore in return! And BTW, Yes I am hoping we get to draft a Swedish defenseman! (although at the moment he is only 165lbs. but that will change!)

Mrazek "Maturing, could bounce back like Howard"

Abso - ******* - lutely! 1 for 1, or maybe Mrazek and Montreal's 6th for Theodore! I was just going to post this! They don't have the cap room at the moment, but Stoner is STILL on the IR and part of his cap could be used as the difference if they chose to LTIR him. The only reason he isn't on it already is they don't need the cap relief.
