I know, the list I put up from TSN has him #7 I believe! I would love to have him, but if he's gone, there is a handful of kids that would be fine too, and yes that includes Pettersson. I am just holding out hope for my favorite to become a Red Wing... I can only hope, but, it's not like Holland hasn't disappointed any of us before!

You said BREATH KILLER, and I thought you were referring to my runon paragraph! But you meant BREATHE KILLER, I guess either way I get what you are saying!
-
I'd love for that to happen, because then we could maybe snag him in the 2nd! I like that draft ranking! I also like that Tippett is 22 on that list, now I absolutely trade the #9 to St, Louis for the #20 and #27...I'd even throw in a player to entice them even more! to DET : #20 and #27 2017 Draft Picks to STL : #9 2017 pick ; Darren Helm 20th pick - Owen Tippet 27th pick - Nicolas Hague Hey, that would be MY perfect scenario, I know a lot of you don't agree and that is fine!

Alexander Radulov: Wings on short-list of desired teams
LeftWinger replied to TheDetroitRedWings's topic in General
Ya, because he wants way too much money... $9M per year is Elite money, we're talking McDavid, Laine, etc... not Radulov, I wouldn't give him more than $6M and that is a maybe....again, no thanks to him ever being on the Wings. -
I like how they say "puzzling decision" when in actuality its a STUPID, IDIOTIC, DUMBASS decision. It's also a vengeful decision. It's said because Holland couldn't/wouldn't trade Howard, that is why Mrazek has the attitude, so this is Holland's revenge. Much like why Fedorov's number won't, but should, be retired until Holland is no longer here. It's Holland's ego that is the problem. There is no reason why, if Mrazek is such a bad person, that Holland couldn't trade him for a pick, hell even a 7th, just to get something for him, but no, he has to rub salt in the face of Mrazek and leave him unprotected like he is worth dog s*** to Holland. I hope Vegas takes him and he becomes everything most of us hoped he would become here. Fleury has what, 2 years left at $5.75M, Mrazek has 1 year at $4M then he is still an RFA. I can see them taking both because they do need to get above $45M is salary IIRC, and They could easily do a 1a 1b tandem until Fleury's contract is up. This is just a bad move by Holland (again) much like opting on Hudler/Franzen over Hossa and much like re-signing Helm and many of the other stupid things he has done due to "loyalty" to players even though they are the lessor option. Attitude or not, he should've protected Mrazek and then if he had to, trade him. Until we know Wednesday, I guess this is all up in the air, but it was really not a puzzling decision, it was the Juck ******* Pott once again. All praise Holland! Damn I cannot wait until I am utterly disappointed Friday....

He was #2 behind Fluery in the top 9 available though...
-
Holland's back door deal is, Vegas takes Fluery and then Sheahan from us, we keep Mrazek then trade Howard for Fluery......

http://www.tsn.ca/hischier-rides-meteoric-rise-to-top-of-tsn-draft-ranking-1.783025 Ffinal TSN draft rankings...Liljegren to 16...maybe Holland trades the 9 for 2 1sts and drafts him and Hague...
-
Gus Nyquist?
-
He should go to Edmonton or Nashville.
-
I think Auntie Peg needs to kick junior off the Tandy.
-
No thank you...no need to honor me. Even if Mrazek stays, now that Holland pretty much said he has a bad attitude and that's what got him exposed, do you really think Petr is going to play with his heart here now? Well at least if he stays we can include him in all trade scenarios...
-
...as they select Helm and Petr takes the job Again!
-
If we ditched E....awesome!
-
Don't get me wrong, if Liljegren is NHL ready and we draft him, and we ditched Ericsson, it'd be good. If we lose XO, there would a spot to compete for with Russo, etc...
-
Not ignoring the need, but if we retain XO, that'll make 7 D already here. Just saying that if he's nhl ready, he won't get nhl time here right now...but a forward would. That's all, nothing more.
-
That's part of the reason id prefer a fwd at #9. Right now we have 10 signed, 12 with AA & Tatar getting re-signed. Minus Franzen back down to 11, that leaves 3 fwd spots to fill, even with Svech and possibly Frk getting a spot, someone like Tippett et al. could make the team before a D could.
-
I understand the need for a D, but if Liljegren is nhl material, where's he going to play here? Unless we ditch a couple of D, there's no room for him, especially with Knee Cap and Erection taking up roster spots. So if he's drafted, he'll wind up in GR or stay in Sweden until we have an opening, when he should be in the NHL.
-
I know what Kenny is up to! He loses Mrazek and frees up $4M, he then trades the #9 to Anaheim for Fowler, who was just (hypothetically) extended 8 years. It's all clear now!
-
NTC'S did not have to be protected only NMC'S. Smitty beat me to it.
-
How many of you guys are disappointed that I'm not the one going nuts?
-
Wouldn't it be shocking if they took Kronwall?
-
Holland isn't savvy enough to get a 1st for Green. He'll get a 3rd in 18 and a 4th in 19 for him. Holland does not win in trades anymore. That is absolutely the truth.
