Blue Knights.

I hope it's not legionaires, that sounds like a disease.

Except for Van Gundy's position on our election. It's fine to have an opinion, but he said "Black" players should strike until Trump is kicked out of office. I'm all for our 1st Amendment freedoms, but this just makes him look like a cry baby race baiter. Sorry, not trying to be too political, but just explaining why I will not support this team because of this kind of ideology within the NBA. Especially with the fragile state of my country...same reason I don't watch the NFL anymore. Anyhow, we knew this was more than likely going to happen, back when ilitch was trying to buy the team, Mrs. Davidson wouldn't sell it to him if he didn't buy PSE along with it, ilitch didn't want the entire franchise, just the team. Even when Gores bought it he said he wouldn't rule out a move back to the city. Good business move though. http://usherald.com/nba-coach-black-players-strike-racist-trump-kicked-obamas-house/

Wouldn't it be nice for once to see a "classic" jersey be an actual wool "sweater" that actually looks like it came from 1918?
-
They Continue to dump and chase because, hey, it works in practice against our own D, so it's got to work for real, yes? NO! Our D is inept and my gramma can dump the puck in against them and recover it in the corner! And she's deceased! It's all about pretty much everything you said, but blame has to go on Holland as much if not more as it does on coaching.

Guilty! Come on, who else will fess up? Your wives know who you are!

Holy hell....that look sums up the season thus far!

Can We Please Stop Putting Teams In Unsustainable Cities?

But, are there enough fans to make more teams? -
Ya, we have a ton of players that should be making $1M to $2M less. Sad thing is, he's going to give Tatar $4M+ this summer...and probably Smith the same.
-
It would be if we weren't wasting nearly $15M on E, Kronwall and Nyquist. We'd save even more if Z would call it quits, but he still has some worth...not $7M cap hit worth, but more than the other 3. Not to beat dead horses, but Abby and Helm are grossly overpaid as well.
-
Haven't you heard? There's this Swedish defense kid that'll resurrect our entire franchise because....lidstrom. Holland will waste a lottery pick, it'll be an atrocity to let him draft with it. Speaking of Holland, what a shame, all the winning and champions and hall of famers to grace that hallowed builing, he's going to allow the last year of The Joe end with this absolute debacle. All the history and it'll shut it's lights off as a loser. A horrific loser.

...and the highest payroll in the league. Chew on that and let it sink in.
-
Because Mantha just isn't doing enough, remember? He has to learn the hard way even when the vets are s***ting on the ice. I wonder if Holland still likes his team? A trade is needed now. I hope that XO gets the nod over Smith to replace Marchenko.
-
I predicted they would finish higher than us. Jacques Demers and Dave Lewis were fired. Coincidently the worst players tonight were Ericsson, Kronwall, Nyquist. Kronwall was directly responsible for the GWG. Also, Z is just too broke to carry them anymore. Best players tonight, Mantha, Larkin, Sproul, Ott and Vanek of course. Howard did what he could. I don't blame him for any of the goals.
-
Howard is auditioning for his next job and employer tonight. Let's put on a good show!
-
I am not sure. But ya, if there is a cap on it, I too could see a pronger type deal to a floor team.
-
I like it, but Ott will be here for the duration. Holland likes him, Blashill likes him, he's used in most important situations. Move Abby up with AA & Z, then put Ott back on the 4th. Now fund one more forward. Just stick Bertuzzi in there and Frk as the 13th. That's a ton of turnover though...Holland won't trade Nyquist, he can't after this year without Nyquists permission, he has a NTC that kicks in next season. But if we could deal him, Tatar and Sheahan in some deals for picks or as in packages for some sort of need, that would be great. I belive Miller and Smith will not be re-signed and Kringewall is two steps away from LTIR.
-
Well we'll see how things start to change with Vanek tonight.

I agree. I am sure they want to see if he remains consistent. Which, if he does, is better for us.
-
Yes, but without giving up Larkin, AA or Mantha you aren't even going to get a sniff of OEL, Ekblad and the ilk. Hell, those are all franchise players, we may not even get them WITH the guys you mentioned. We'll be lucky to land 1b type d-men with "potential" like Trouba, Fowler, Hamilton. I agree, but our O was doing fine when Vanek and AA were healthy...at least better than now. If we got two of the four D-Men being talked about and our forwards stayed healthy, we'd be fine. BUT Kringewall has to sit, he just isn't NHL caliber anymore. I mentioned it another time, get one of Trouba/Fowler/Hamilton NOW and then get another one later or Shattenkirk as a UFA. It starts with the D.
-
We need to trade Jimmy NOW while his value is high(er.) Sure, if he continues to play this way it will only make him more valuable, but do we risk holding on to him too long and having his stock fall? What I am saying, we're talking about Holland here, of course we'll hold on to him until his stock falls.

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't saying Vegas is going to move, I was just saying that because it seems that these teams that go where its not really a hockey hotbed, seem to be the first ones to go elsewhere. Yes, Quebec and Hartford are examples of teams in an established city, but for the most part, these teams that move move again after a while...or at least we hear that they are up for sale and may possibly move. -
Neither green nor Vanek will be traded.
