agreed, but just wanting to see players playing in the NHL environment and how they handle it. It wouldn't hurt to sit Andy and Ferraro to give AA a looksee while we have some injuries enabling us to bring a player up for a couple of games. AA would slot right in the 2nd line so he wouldn't be wasted in the 4th line role...just a looksee while we have the chance. I am really interested in what WPG would take for Byf too. Roster player, pick, prospect? 2 roster players, prospect? 2 prospects, roster player?

I'd really like to see Nyquist -Sheahan - Jurco again. They had great chemistry in the past. I wouldn't want to be accused of demotng Nyquist, but its the chemistry that's more important right? So, if that line played together and the 2nd was Tatar - Larkin - Pulk, who can take the RW spot on Z's line with Abby?

How about: Tatar - Z- Vindicator Pulk - Larkin - AA Jurco - Sheahan - Nyquist Miller - disney.com - Helm Andy/Ferrao sitting...

Tuesday night, October 27th, Frank Fritz watch as The Detroit Red Wings gently explored of the dressing room and insanely stepped onto the ice for their pregame skate. Larkin fired pucks at the closet while Iron Mountain fans watched in envy. You could tell that the wiry referees were going to have to keep an eye on the cereal, as it was going to be a fast game due to the junky skating abilities of both teams. Eric Staal's contorted hair was flowing ala 90's Fedorov style, and Henrik Zetterberg's frantic beard could have scared a vampire. The Red Wings lineup was depleted due to a severe case of cooties, while the Hurricanes were sporting a fairly jovial team full of grimy youngsters and riotous veterans. Jeff Blashill's sock needed no adjusting, and Nick Krownwall's preparation was nothing short of empty. Instead of Journey's "Don't Stop Believing," the music selector was going to play "Chocolate Jesus" if the Red Wings prevailed. The starting lineups were announced, but Blue_Adams couldn't believe Blashill was going to start Abdelkader. Centcougar07 swooned at Miller, while Omnipotent_Hudler encouraged Howard. The ref finally swallowed the puck and everyone could, at last, start calling out Helm as the Bigfoot. Nice!

Pavel, I appreciate the inclusion in the game story, but I love DD, so I wouldn't be upset! Maybe if you put Howard there instead! But, anyhow, Great Game storyline! I know it was all totally random! Would have been cool though if those two lined up!

I think Miller does his job for the mos part, and does it well. Now, if we're talking re-signing him that is where I am ok with him going or staying, either way, for now, though, I don't think bringing up a prejected top 6 guy and putting him in the bottom 6 helps. But that is just my opinion. There are a lot of decisions to be made in the coming months when I comes to these "Babcock Guys." Not counting Richards, I think the order of importance in which your FWD UFA's to be re-signed are: Abby Helm Miller Andersson any of the bottom 3 in some capacity can be used as trade pawns, maybe not ALL of them, but any one or combo of two wouldn't hurt this team to lose and may help in making this team a bit better within a trade package to where we need to be better. The RFA's Sheahan and Pulkkinen are must re-signs (unless Pulk gets dealt (I hope not)) and Ferraro is nether here nor there for me, he can also be included in a trade package if we must, if not, he won't cost too much towards the cap and will still rotate from 12-14 on the depth chart...

Well with Green and Q out, it might be time to see what other kids can do. I am all for just keeping status quo with Smith and Kindl, but inserting Jensen or Sproul for a couple games wouldn't hurt to see what they have. We know what XO and Marchy have, it's time for the other two to try out the NHL.

I am glad Danny Boy reported, but something tells me, with the talent we have, he still may see a lot of ass time in the press box.

I know you meant watch tapes of Chris Farley, not bring him in, for obvious reasons... The 3 guys that scored last night are exactly the guys we need to get rolling. Z will be Z, Pav will be Pav, Larkin, for all he has already, is only 19 years old. Tats, Pulk and Gus need to be our gunners, our go to guys, and last night they did it. So happy for them! I feel bad for Jurco, it seems that when he is in, he does't do too much to keep himself in...sadly, he may be one of those guys that may be moved in some manner. How did Marchy look last night?

so, Richards was out, Green got hurt...not complaining about the signings, I like them both. Not complaining about the money or Holland. Just wondering, when was the last UFA we signed that didn't get hurt? When was the last time we signed a UFA that actually stayed healthy. Does this happen to other teams? If so, it just doesn't seem like it does...at least not nearly as much. I can't remember one UFA that didn't get hurt in their first season. Hopefully these two are just minor boo boos...

Well since a shakeup line wise is needed, why not shake up the top line? Maybe switch Abby with someone else to see if it'll spark something...
