9, 9, 9....tsk tsk...the argument was that I never even mentioned him once in the roster thread. Which was proven I did, each time I made a roster he was on it. So, thanks again for being you and never being able to admit you're wrong. That's ok, because even though you do prove me wrong sometimes, it way fun when you get proved wrong then try to run around and deflect that fact. But again, thanks for everything! I look forward to the time you tell me I never said Mrazek will take Jimmy's job. I guess the words "most the summer" were wrong, but that was not the debate. Although I have had Jensen on my roster before and even back to the end of last season. I agree I have had some other guys there as well, but Jensen has made MULTIPLE appearances there. And yes, it was always at the expense of dumping one of Q, K, E or Smith and it still is, because in order for MORE THAN ONE of the kids to fit next season, more than just Q has to be gone next off season.

BUT, just to show you I am a good sport and can fess up to things, the OP of the thread did say 4 forward lines and 3 D pairings. So, using that formula, technically, I DID NOT have Jensen on my STARTING roster....

I didn't "call" anything, nor did I know it all along. Again, show me in my post where I "gloated" about being "right" about Jensen. I didn't gloat nor did I say I was right, I say to another user, I agree, Jensen deserves a shot, I have had him on my roster for a while. I don't see a gloat. I know you guys get pissed at me for Franzen, but this has nothing to do with him. If I did gloat about Jensen, and said I told you so, etc...I could see the excuse for the attack by you guys, but I didn't, and then when I was pretty much called a liar about Jensen, I blew up because I knew what my roster scenario said. You guys flame me all the time about me talking about getting rid of Q, K and E and in most if not all those trade scenarios, my D ends up with Jensen at #7. I am not even mad that you guys make fun of me by saying I should be a scout or my eye for talent sarcasm, but it pissed me off when you guys piled up on me because you guys said I never mentioned him on my roster(s.) That is why I got angry. When I deserved to be flamed, I take it and lick my wounds, just like when I liked the Franzen and Q signing's initially, you guys were right about those, I did initially like them, but have grown to hate them. When I get flamed on those, I deserve it, but I did not deserve this and my reaction was just. ...and no, I did not mention a bunch of guys at #7 in the roster thread, it was Jensen. There were different top 6 pairings, but Jensen was #7 in the three mentions of rosters.

...and to be fair about your mention of me having Sproul, I can honestly say, without a doubt that more times than not I had Jensen on my roster a lot more than Sproul. Honestly I don't even remember having Sproul there (not saying I didn't) so I probably would not have said the same thing about Sproul as I did Jensen. Of the 4 kids I have always been more in favor of Jensen coming up to #7 than the others because the others always seemed to have a higher top out than Jensen so I always felt they would be wasted at #7, but Jensen always seemed to be the one less mentioned in a top 4 capacity, so that is why I always penciled him in at #7. Not eye for talent, but an eye for trying to get one of them up here now instead of all 4 next year.

Whether or not he is in the press box, he was on my roster and you guys just jumped on the flame bus trying to make fun of me by saying I never mentioned him ONCE. #7 or not, someone has to be, I think he deserves #7 minutes to see what he has in the REAL NHL and maybe he can steal a job. That's all I said and have said in the past, nothing about eye for talent or anything. I simply said he deserves some NHL time to try to prove he can play, and being at #7 would get him that. But now that your true colors are shining again, you are exposed. I see the other two either ran away with their tail between their legs or are on a mission to dig up something else I said (or they think I said or didn't say) just to save face. That's not even the point Kip. First I didn't GLOAT about Jensen. if you read my response to the OP, I said I agree, Jensen deserves a shot and I have had him on my roster. Zombo, who seems butt hurt on flaming me every chance he or she gets, decided to attempt to call me out by saying I didn't mention him, then you two piled on. #7 is still on the roster, it's not about recognizing talent or wasting talent in the press box. It's about Jensen being promoted to the #7 spot in Detroit in order to get SOME NHL playing time and try to prove he belongs. Simple, never GLAOTED about any of it, simply agreed with another user and then you guys showed up to try to make fun and flame me.

Oh, so now you agree that I had him on my roster? And it never was anything about an eye for talent. My stance has been for a while now that Jensen deserves a shot (as do all 4 of the kids.) I always chose Jensen because of the 4, he seemed to be the least likely to be a top 4 guy and that the other 3 should not come up to be #7. But just like always when you are wrong, you just try to attack someone from a different angle. All three of you guys should just admit you were wrong on this one and go about your day. That is the difference between us, sure I am loud and boisterous and talk a lot of crap, but when I am proven wrong, I do own up to it and admit it. You guys can't and won't. Kip, that has nothing to do with it. YOU tried to attack me and discredit me by saying I NEVER EVEN MENTIONED HIM ONCE in the roster thread, yet, right there, on my first post of that thread, Jensen is my #7 guy on my roster, in the roster thread. But, as usual, once you get discredited you choose to ignore that fact, evident by your last post here, all of a sudden there is no mention of Jensen and my being "proven" wrong or the "truth setting me free," you just re-attack by coming up with some other BS.

This was warranted Kickazz. I was simply replying to someone who said Jensen deserves a good shot to make the club, I simply said I had him on my roster for a while, all of a sudden, I was being flamed because "I never mentioned him EVEN once" not even in the lines thread, but yet, as proven, I did, he was on my roster and these fools need to be slapped back in their place. I understand when you guys get mad at me for mentioning Franzen all the time, but my comment warranted no attack like that from Zombo, 9, and Kip because all they were trying to do was start an argument and try to call me out, but they got called out.

Ya, lets look at post #4 in the lines thread, WHO DID I LIST AS MY 7TH D-MAN? WHO? Jensen that's WHO! and that was on August 18th, on the first page of the lines thread! So don't go trying to start s*** by saying I "didn't even mention Jensen at all" because its right there on the first post in the lines thread MY 7TH DEFENSEMAN IS JENSEN. Last time I checked a #7 guy IS ON THE ROSTER! and YES it was at the expense of Quincey, but big ******* deal, there isn't room for him now, I eliminated someone, but that still doesn't mean I never had him on my roster's. He was always there, I have even gotten in arguments about which kid should be called up each time I mentioned Jensen, and just to jar your ******* memories, I said I used Jensen as my 7th because the other 3 kids would be wasted coming up here and being #7. I also have him on my roster on August 28 as #7. Funny how you guys select what you want to in order to attack someone. You can search ALL my content (which apparently you love to do) its ok with me, because more times than not, Jensen IS on my roster, in Detroit. So KIP and Number9, who is discredited now? Let's see...hmmmm...YOU, because instead of reading you decide to just attack without even knowing what you are talking about. It's right there, edited on the 18th of August, JENSEN, JENSEN, JENSEN, so how is that not EVEN mentioning him in the lines thread? Usually you are pretty good at taking me on, but man what a loser right now...all of you who said I never had him on my roster. I cannot agree with you more. I've had Jensen on my roster pretty much all summer long. I also agree that, unfortunately, Smith has seemed to top out. He has some value in trade right now, K not much, but you could keep K as a 7th dman with Jensen and him rotating in the 6th spot. I still don't know what we're going to do when all 4 kids are out if exemptions next season. Miele played great, yet another hard working player that earns his paycheck that there is no room for because of overcrowding of players, a couple that are very replaceable.

Nope, was ready to dump all those guys for a while now. Don't get confused, not just after one pre-season game, but for about 2 years now, some for longer. But ya, I saw some real good kids tonight that could step right in and no one would miss ANY of the mentioned players. Sheahan and Glenny eliminate the need for Barbie. Trade him before he loses all his stock.

Sheahan is like Helm, but he can score, and isn't as fragile. Tonight only solidified my belief that some players are tradable now, and they should be dealt before their stock falls. Q, K, E, Howard, Helm. LTIRetire Franzen.

Ya, I can't believe that anybody has never mentioned that Jensen should make the team this year...how can that be than not one person had them on their roster lineup....wow.

I think they got hosed on a non call trip. But man Larkin and Mantha look good together!

Glendog will be MORE important to this team than Franzen. Might even outscore him.

Nice to see our kids (all of them) gaining confidence out there skating past basically a full NHL squad. They have really picked it up since Sheahan's goal. Where are my shades?
